My name is Tamara Robinson. I am originally from flagstaff and have been here almost my entire life. My husband is a fireman with Summit Fire Dept and we have 2 year old twins. I have been a cosmetologist for almost 13 years and I love my job! I love working with clients and getting to know people, and the flexible schedule allows me to be home with my family as well. I take pride in my career and love making people look good and feel great! I am the manager of Bliss at 619 Salon in downtown Flagstaff and it has been a great opportunity for me. This place was absolutely fantastic! Last time I had an ombré done it was at a Tony and Guy, and it was the first time I had ever dyed my hair. To make a long story short, the girl completely destroyed my hair, so I was skeptical about dying my hair again. I came to bliss and I had an appointment with Sarai, and let me tell you, she is absolutely amazing! She is so easy to talk to and she exceeded my expectation! She uses high quality salon products and I am officially a forever client with her My hair is very thick and very dark and I didn’t think it was possible to do what she did to my hair, and she did an amazing job! The salon itself is also amazing, it’s super clean and has a wonderful environment and staff Everyone go here! I highly recommend:)!!! I was very excited to go to this salon. I booked a hair cut and a forehead & upper lip threading. When I walked in there, the staff wasn’t welcoming. Stefani was my designer. At first I was really impressed, cuz she did a good job washing my hair (comparing to all the other poor services I had even from high end salons). I felt pretty comfortable when she was cutting my hair. She did such a great job blow drying it. I felt great, until she started threading my forehead. She finished my forehead and upper lip in 3 minutes, as you can imagine it wasn’t clean enough! I was disappointed. The most frustrating part is two days after i washed my hair, then I found out there’s a part of my hair next to my right cheek is way longer than others…$ 45 hair cut and $ 15 threading… Totally not worth it.

I was really excited to go here after reading the other Unilocal reviews. I went in for color, and told the stylist I wanted darker and to cover all the grey in my hair. I’m not sure where the disconnect happened, but I walked out with the same hair color except for darker roots, and there is still a LOT of grey in my hair. I’m not one to complain, but after talking to some friends they encouraged me to go back and say something, especially after telling them I paid over $ 100. It said online that they were open until 7, but when I got there at 5 the shop was totally closed. I’m so disappointed, especially because now I am going to be causing my hair extra damage to have it dyed again.

Tiffany was great. I hadn’t had my hair cut by someone different in quite some time and I really liked what she did and how she cut my hair so that it didn’t look frumpy. She also recommended this sticky product that helps put waves in my straight hair. I’ll be back next month when I need color!!!

I am not from Flagstaff originally so I was always hesitant to get my hair done anywhere up here, however it wasn’t until I had an emergency and box dyed my hair and my roots turned yellow, that I need to get my hair done. I decided to try Bliss 619 and Tamara was absolutely amazing! I love my hair now and will continue to go to her!

I wanted to get back closest to my natural color as possible. After using products recommend by one of the employees at Sally’s I totally ruined my hair and it was orange and red. I went to Kyla for a color correction and not only did she fix the problem, she got me back to my natural color. It has been a couple months and my hair is blending in great. I highly recommend Kyla!

I’m from out of town and made a last minute appt with Ashley, who was awesome. I did a simple color and trim. They’re very reasonably priced, super nice, and Ashley was very knowledgable about the products and made a couple of recommendations for me. When I decided not to buy anything she gave me her card and told me to come back if I ever changed my mind… she didn’t try to change my mind or change her attitude when I said no to the products, which some salons are horrible about. Overall the atmosphere was great, music was a good 90s-​modern mix, and I was very happy with my color

The only place I get my hair and eyebrows done! Sonia is my girl and she always makes my hair look fantastic! Tifani always does a great job threading my eyebrows. Super cute salon and nice staff. Go see them… like…now! =)

I have seen Sonia for years and love her to pieces! She has always been good to me, I completely trust her with my hair and I always love it when she is done with me. I have a ton of naturally wavy hair and she is not intimidated at all. Prices are fair and the salon is very nice too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

The ladies at Bliss 619 Salon are by far some of the best stylists in Flagstaff! Sonia has been my stylist for several years now and I have never once been disappointed with the service I have received. My hair always looks and feels amazing. I love my new haircut! The staff at the salon is very nice, friendly and has the best customer service. They always work with my schedule to give me the best service possible. The shop is very cozy, cute and welcoming. I got eye lash extensions done by Ashley and I loved them. If you are looking for a great salon in Flagstaff, this is the one for you!

I have been calling around to multiple salons to contract for my wedding hair and make-​up day of. I REALLY wanted to support the owner, since her husband is a firefighter and I like to support firefighter families. BUT, it was so difficult to reach them to set anything up. The receptionist was not very polite, and it has been a few weeks since my first phone call. I was sent the bridal contract which seemed hopeful, but I can’t get a hold of anyone to talk about it or give them my business. I was very disappointed with the customer service at this salon. If they don’t want the business, I will go somewhere else who does want the business.

This place was great! Friendly staff, great hair cut! What could be better than that? It’s cheap and they do a great job! A cut and style for $ 35 is a steal!!! GO GO GO and see Kyla, she is a sweetie ;-)
