The fondue was really good, as was the pizza and salmon cakes. Lots to eat. Good service friendly staff. We liked the red beer better than the pilsner but both were very good

We visited the Beaver street Brewery with a group of 12 people and it was great. All of the food was delicious, you can’t make a wrong menu decision. Our sever was friendly, patient, and awesome with our huge group and he totally made our night.

Very busy restaurant! For the plus side– very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent chocolate bread pudding for dessert… warm, gooey and tasty especially when topped off with vanilla ice cream! However, the fondue appetizer with brandy was overpowered by the brandy. The bread that came with it was tasteless. Only the fresh fruit they served with the fondue made it somewhat edible. The side salad I ordered in place of a meal since I went heavy on the App and knew I wanted dessert, was delicious. Fresh veggies, feta and a tasty vinagrette rounded out the flavor. I would definitely return to this restaurant and just skip the fondue!

this place is good, the beers are cold, and fun traditional craft brews, with a cool staff. we had the cheddar fondue, clam chowder, and pretzels. Everything was pretty good and out in a timely manner.

Beaver Street Brewery, located in downtown Flagstaff, has something for everyone-literally. It reminds me of a slightly smaller Cheesecake Factory in terms of its hugely diverse menu. A small quaint 10 table restaurant it is not. Surprisingly, this is exactly what we were looking for! Our party of 11 was having an exceedingly difficult time securing a table at ANY downtown restaurant due to the fact that most of the restaurants in Flagstaff are on the smaller, cozier side. At any given time, there were 30 to 50 people waiting to be seated. Our party of 11 waited one hour and 10 minutes to be seated, which was expected on a busy evening as such. Our server, Connor, was on point the whole night. The children ordered a bunch of pizzas and fries, and the adults ordered different salads, a meatloaf dish, a nine cheese pizza, jambalaya, and a hamburger. Obviously, a number of local beers were enjoyed. The nine cheese pizza was about 12 inches in diameter, had plenty of cheese but not too much, and lots of fresh herbs and spices. The crust was thin but not crunchy and was quite tasty. The Chicken Caesar salad was huge! Enough to split between three people. The salad dressing was tangy with a hint of lemon along with Parmesan crumbles. The romaine lettuce pieces were cut small enough to eat without having to use a knife. The only downside was the chicken on top was absolutely horrible ordering on inedible. The jambalaya had a nice kick to it came with a large scoop of rice, and an entire mini baguette. The bread was a perfect side to dip in the jambalaya. The overall atmosphere was fun and loud. As mentioned above this is not your quaint small restaurant typical in historic downtown, but a large brewery with an overly diverse menu. The staff was very friendly, the food solid, but on holiday weekends during the snow season expect long waits to be seated.

While the wait was about an hour-long it was definitely worth it! Beaver Street’s waiting system was so 21st century that they texted me when the table was ready. Friendly service! I was so entertained by just the professionalism of the staff that the hour flew by. Once we were seated we ordered immediately and the food came out in no less than 10 minutes. I had the Mediterranean Quinuoa salad(yum!) and the apple cobbler. However, try to go on a day when they have the blueberry cobbler– there apple is very bitter. ALSO, I wish they had vegetarian soup/chili daily specials. At least one option would be nice for Vegetarians/Vegans on a cold Flagstaff night. Especially because it’s Flagstaff.

Where to start? I used my Unilocal app to help me find a restaurant at a great price and it gave me this one and we saw that it had 4 stars, so we desire to go eat, the place was packed and we waited for 45min, tell you right now not worth the wait! We had the pretzel app(not worth the money) for dinner we ordered pizza, pot pie, and a cheeseburger! Let’s start with the pot pie! Crap!!! They used can vegetable first of all! Tent are a mom and pops restaurant they should be making everything from scrap! The pizza has no flavor and the toppings still raw, the owner and the cook need to go back to the drawing board and revamp all the recipes. This place is a tourist trap, pretty sure all the locals gave it all the stars, because the do not deserve them!

We were doing a day road trip with our friends from Sedona. Showing us around and taking us to Flagstaff to enjoy the mountains and also to play in snow. We are from Honolulu, Oahu so it’s not like we see snow everyday nor drive up the mountain to be in it, Sooo beautiful it was. My friends from Sedona had recommended this place for our group to eat for lunch mainly for their beer which by the way was delicious. I had a raspberry beer and it was great, not heavy, not bold but, just right with a touch of sweetness in it. Perfect! The food was all delicious the Swiss cheese fondue, burgers, and Caesar salads was amazing! Our waitress was Sooo on it and nice. Great atmosphere to warm up in the winter and get back out! And they serve FRESH water… Yeeehhh for that!

We’ve been coming to Beaver Street since we moved to Phoenix 6 years ago(we come to Flag often). The food is your standard American pub fare, and it is always tasty. The brews are par with any great micro brewery. On this visit, we ordered the salmon cake appetizers. Upon bringing them out, our server noticed one of the cakes had slipped into the curry sauce. She called it out and asked if that was ok or if we wanted a new order. We had folks sensitive to spices, so we agreed to a new batch. She took them back, only for us to see that the kitchen staff wiped them down and replated them. We let her know, and she was extremely apologetic. The kitchen manager came out and also apologized. The appetizer was taken back and we got a new one, and it was comped. Both, the server and the manager were extremely apologetic and embarrassed, and they did the best they could to address the situation. Hope this was just an anomaly and the leadership team takes a moment to chat with all employees about best in class food service. Kudos to our server for doing the best she could.

My partner and I stopped in for lunch on our way thru town. After more than a week of road trippin’ through the south west, we were keen to balance a love of beer with something a little bit healthy. This place was perfect. We both went for a salad, loaded up big so you felt like you were having a meal, but also that you were doing the right thing by your body. The calypso chicken was especially hearty and I always like it when the default is dressing on the side. Now you don’t go to a local brewery just for a salad so I also went for the tasting flight — 8 x 3oz of their own brews. Normally there’s a couple of below par beers in a taster, but only the shandy(of course) was weak, while the Flagstaff IPA and Oatmeal Stout were a cut above most other beers. The service was strong too, right up the the end. I’m shaving off a star mainly because our server held onto our card for about 15 – 20 minutes. We had to remind him to run it so we could settle and be on our way. That’s annoying, and lazy service, but overall this was a really good experience.

Got their flight sampler and loved each offering, and both the Enchanted Forest and Southwest Chicken pizzas were great. Oh and fondue! Gotta love that. Staff was friendly and the interior was charming.

After spending dinner the night before at the huge let down of Oak Creek Brewery Restaurant in Sedona, Beaver Street was a welcoming spot! I had been once before several years ago and knew we would be in luck. They have a huge menu, but not so overwhelming that you can’t decide on a meal. We had the R&R Oatmeal Stout, which was super tasty for a dark beer and not too strong on the chocolate or coffee side. I also had tasters of their Hefe Weizen and then a type of berry wheat brew as well. Both weren’t as good, but still loads better than Oak Creek’s. Their Southwest Turkey Grinder sandwich was absolutely to die for! The poblano chilis and the roasted chili sauce gave it a nice bite and flavor. We came for early lunch when they first opened so it wasn’t crowded at all. Both times I’ve been the servers have been super friendly!

We stopped in after a long morning of sledding and we were hoping to have a better experience than the last time. We ordered drinks and a appetizer. The drinks came and never saw our waiter again until we received our food. When asked were our appetizer had gone to he was apologetic and stated he forgot to put it in. This is the one thing my husband wanted to eat. The food was nothing to bloat about and with the options around the area we won’t stop back in.

Took a trip out to Flagstaff for Pluto Palooza at Lowel Observatory in July this year and stopped here for a bite with friends. The places was nice, like most bar and grill places out west. The services was great as was the food. Portions were more than enough and the drinks were not watered down, tasty bloody marys and lots of different beer and wine to choose from

Flagstaff was early to the microbrew trend and this restaurant/brewery is one of it’s earliest embodiment having been established in 1996. We will be forever gratefull that the owner tiered of his programming job in LA. While they beer tasting here is good I think the place for beer is it’s sister establishment the lumberyard, it has much more of a bar feel and has better specials so you are more likely to snag a good price for the brew. The food here is better though and features wood fired pizza. My wife and I shared the mystical pizza with walnuts, brie, spinach and other ingredient and loved it! Service here was very quick. Although it took a second for us to get noticed once we were the food, beer and bill came out blazing fast and although a fair sized meal we spent no longer that 40 minutes here.

Day 1 in flagstaff we decided to have lunch on Unilocal’s recommendation. And my fellow Unilocalers did not disappoint, this place was one of the most reviewed and boy is the food good or what. We ordered the Hawaiian Margarita and their award winning stout. Both were excellent and the stout for once did taste like the real deal, it was an oatmeal stout and the color was perfect. Then came the food we had the wood fired bbq chicken pizza(barbecue sauce topped with a smoked gouda & mozzarella cheese, grilled chicken, red onions, scallions & red bell peppers finished with chopped parsley). On point Again the pizza was seasoned just right, I didn’t even bother touching my chili flakes. Margarita Chicken Sandwich(chicken breast marinated with tequila & lime grilled & topped with a roasted poblano chili, cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a side of cilantro mayonnaise, served on a crispy, bun). I substituted my regular fries to sweet potato fries and I’m glad I did. They were hand cut, fresh and crisp. The sandwich itself was juicy and the cilantro mayonnaise paired well with the fries. The Staff is friendly and the food speaks for itself. Definitely a Must Visit. Cheers!

My hubby and I came here for our anniversary dinner. We loved it. This was actually our second attempt at coming. The first night was a Saturday night and the place was packed. Finding a parking spot was a nightmare and then the wait was going to be 45 minutes, so we ended up going elsewhere. This time, we got here early with the intent of sitting around and drinking, eating, and celebrating for a few hours. I drank two of the Bramble Berry Brews and it was really, really good. Paired with my meal perfectly. Hubby drank the Pilsner, Marzen Lager, and the R & R Oatmeal Stout. He liked them all. We started off with an order of pretzels, which were super good, but not really like traditional(Philly) pretzels. They just seemed to be baked and didn’t have salt on them, but the schmears they come with were yummy. I especially liked the southwestern cream cheese. I ordered the spinach ravioli with a side Cesar salad. The portion was adequate and although it was really tasty, I couldn’t finish it. Hubby got the salmon BLT and it was really delicious. We finished our meal off with the trio of desserts, which was a great ending to our date. We’d certainly come back!

This place is a local favorite, which is evident by the crowds and the noise that occur here at night, and especially on weekends. Its a big place with a ton of seating here. You can sit in a booth, a table, or the bar. They have a nice selection of beer to choose from, including one of my favorite IPA’s in town. Their menu is also very good, and they have a nice selection of traditional pub fare along with some interesting twists. I tend to enjoy their meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and I usually order their soft pretzels as appetizers which come with a delicious cheese dip. They also have great salads. I especially enjoy their house salad which is not as lettuce dominant as others that I have had. As for their burgers and fries, they are really very standard. There are no surprises here. However the sweet potato fries could use a bit of flavoring since they tend to be very bland tasting and need ketchup or seasoning to make them taste good. It is supposed to be a healthy alternative to french fries, so that should be expected. The customer service here is also pretty good, and the staff is nice, and accommodating when needed. There has been more than one instance where my order was received inaccurately, and I had to send it back, no biggie. However, the place gets very loud on weekends, which for me makes for an uncomfortable dining experience. Still, it’s a local fave, and the food and service is pretty good. I have a hard time not recommending it unless noise is an issue for you.

This little gem was a great spot! We walked to it from our hotel because we were looking for a relaxed dinner. The place looks like a quaint little bar but it’s also good for families. We asked to be seated outside which was a fenced area with string lights all over the trees to give a homely glow. I ordered the ragin’ cajun jambalaya which was excellent. It came with saffron rice and sourdough bread. The dish was nicely seasoned and not too heavy. There was andouille sausage, chicken, shrimp and crawfish in it. The balance was so nice that i was able to finish my meal considering I normally never finish my meal. My fiancé ordered the fireworks gorditas with fried shrimp. That was very flavorful. It came with tortillas chips, guacamole, and salsa. My father in-law ordered the country fried chicken. The balance was excellent! The breading wasn’t too thick but maintained a great crisp despite the gravy on it. My mother in-law ordered the ribeye. She never finishes her meals but she finished this dish no problem. The steak was cooked to perfection! It was flavored excellently and very tender. Needless to say, if we every come back to the area, we will be sure to eat here again!

This is a very homey place and it hit the spot for us few people who are taking a road trip across the US! Pesto is on everything. Get the chicken pot pie! Best I’ve ever had. I got pizza(the brie, pesto, mushroom, and walnut one.) I added sausage and it all had amazing flavor for the first bites… I must have gotten used to it because then all tasted the same with not much flavor. There was a lot of oil on it, too. The service was amazing and I loved how we got offered separate checks!
