Oceanside Beach Bar and Grill

Had a great late lunch here today. The servers were friendly and helped each out. The food came out quickly, and both our entrees were very tasty. The fries were especially good — just the right balance between crispy and soft. My son had the turkey club, and I had the grilled fish Reuben.

Gonna go on record and say this was hands down one of the best burger I have had in Flagler County. There was a hiccup in service when it took 10 minutes for someone to come to our table but it got worked out and our waitress was awesome. Great job! I will be back!

Although we come to Flagler Beach quite often this was our first time stopping in at Oceanside Beach Bar and Grill. Arriving a little before 1:00 PM we were surprised to find the inside of the restaurant filled to capacity with about a 10 minute wait for a table for three. With the weather on the coast near 50 degrees everyone was jockeying for a seat inside so this probably accounted for the short wait time all the outdoor seating areas were completely empty.
The inside of the restaurant is quite spacious but the tables are fairly close together so walking through to find your seat can be a little challenging. The staff here is extremely friendly and accommodating and will do just about anything to ensure your experience here is the best it can be. The owner /​manager is constantly visiting each table checking on the food and interacting with all the customers further validating their commitment to the customers. This commitment to excellence is also reflected in the kitchen, the food comes out neatly assembled on clean dinnerware. The only disappointment and reason I deducted one star was when I over heard a server describe the fish selection for lunch service, which is a white fish the fresh catch fish is only served after 4:00 PM for dinner service. I don’t know if this is due to the price or availability but I expect fresh local caught fish anytime I dine in a beachside restaurant. This steered us away from any of the fish options but we really enjoyed our lunch choices anyway.
Turkey Club — real roasted turkey hand carved, piled high with crispy bacon, fresh chopped lettuce, juicy tomatoes and mayo on a choice of toasted bread. This turned out to be a excellent choice I highly recommend this if you like a good quality club sandwiches.
Philly Steak Sandwich — lean tender shredded beef cooked with onions and peppers covered in a nice natural cheese piled high on a fresh crusty toasted roll. If you like Phillies you won’t be disappointed.
Corned Beef Rueben — fresh cooked lean corned beef piled on toasted rye bread with a perfect portion of sauerkraut dressed in a creamy Russian Dressing if you love Rueben sandwiches I think you will like this choice it’s pretty simple (I think what I liked best about this was that the bread wasn’t soggy, care was taken to ensure it was assembled correctly and placed on a warm dry plate to avoid this issue so many places overlook).
Beef Barley Soup (with some vegetables added) — a rich broth filled with tender barley and finely diced beef and finely diced vegetables, this soup had a very good flavor but it could of been served a little warmer with a little more beef that wasn’t diced so fine. It was definitely homemade and if this is an example of their daily soup offerings I would highly recommend giving them a try.
Coleslaw — a nice chopped cabbage dressed in a light mayo /​vinegar dressing it appears they are trying to capture both the mayo and vinegar slaw lovers but that’s a big undertaken I would prefer they do both it wasn’t bad by any means but just not memorable.
We definitely rank this place near the top of places to dine in Flagler Beach I can’t wait to stop in again and explore the menu.

Well staffed beachfront eatery. Great breakfast and lunch selections. I had the Greek Gyro and my husband had fish tacos. The fish tacos could be prepared three different ways per your request. I would stop here again.

Fabulous dinner! Cute little beach place, crowded, and fun! Our table of four had the Shrimp and Grits which was flavorful and huge, the fish and chips which were lightly breaded and fresh, the smothered chicken dish which my husband said was perfection and the veggies all fresh and crunchy. We will be back next time we are in the area. Don’t skip this one!

Visited Oceanside last night for a private party. This was my first time at the establishment and I was greatly impressed. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more. Well done.

Oceanside is a really great go to spot. The service is outstanding. All the waiters are pleasant and really hustle but are efficient. One thing that I really like is that all the service people cooperate to serve you. If you need a beverage refill any of the waiters/​waitresses will do it. The owners are always onsite and visit all the patrons. I really love this personal touch. The food is good and the portions are very generous. We usually take home food for the next day. Breakfast is good. The fish rueben is one of my favorite sandwiches. The lower outdoor deck is nice if it it not too humid. The upper deck with great ocean views is open though we have not been up there. Great for families or large groups.

We stopped by for breakfast and were not disappointed. Excellent service, great food and atmosphere. «Momma» stopped by our table and chatted with us as we could see she did with all the patrons. We went back again on our way home. Highly recommend.

Went for dinner with a group on a Friday night. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The staff was polite and professional. The food was absolutely fabulous from beginning to end and the owners came out to greet us and ensure everything was perfect. 5 Stars!

Great view of Flager Beach, ample seating and great menu selection for type of restaurant! My sister has raved about this place forever so was excited to try. Not amazing but good! I had the gyro wrap and GREAT French fries. The hubs had the black and blue burger and thought it was yummy.

Great food and service. The portions are huge and needed a doggy bag to take home the rest. The server John was awesome and a pro at his job also the busser brian was very friendly and smiles alot. The employees appear happy and the service reflects this. The top deck is awesome and you can see as far out to the Atlantic as your eye can see. Great experience. Def recommend thos place.

Best restaurant in Flagler beach! Breakfast lunch or dinner. They bring the best food and service period. A must try! Everyone treats you like family.

Recently discovered this awesome place on South Flagler Beach! It has everything I could ask for! Beautiful ocean views, indoor and outdoor options, late yummy breakfast (2 pm!), healthy options, a bar, and fantastic wait staff & greeters! My particular waitress today Jenai and the Hostess Susan were awesome, as well as all the ones from earlier this week! You must try this place when in Flagler, and you’ll keep coming back for more!

Breakfast is better than dinner. We tried 2 entrees last – lasagna and mahi mahi – both overcooked and nothing to write home about. i first visited here for breakfast a couple months ago. Breakfast made much better impression than dinner.

The food: 3 stars (not bad just not home run)
The atmosphere: 2 – 4 stars depending what your looking for (great family environment and our 8m old was very happy with the hum of people talking, wait staff singing happy birthday, and sports games on TV)
The service: top notch 5 star
We came the weekend after Labor Day so it wasn’t high volume but we could not have had better service. It started with having the table prepared before we arrived (though we were told they don’t do reservations but you can «call ahead»). The manager/​owner greeted us at our table and chatted with my parents. He made our 3 yo feel important in using a «big girl» booster seat since there wasn’t an additional high chair available. The fantastic service continued when the waitress voluntarily noticed I didn’t get the sweet potato fries I requested and gave me an additional side. Later the manager/​owner (?) gave our daughter a superball which completely delighted her. We managed to leave our baby’s spoon and bib on the table and the waitress came to the parking lot to make sure we didn’t leave it behind.
We enjoyed our meal as well. The coconut shrimp, sweet potato fries and regular fries were good and my husband enjoyed his blackened grouper. My mom wasn’t the impressed with the shrimp n grits but over an enjoyable family meal and we will probably be back at some point.

We’ve heard good things about Oceanside and decided to give it a go. We arrived at 4pm to beat out the evening crowds that we heard of.
Seating was prompt with an ocean view. The décor was Italian beachy, clean, with a slightly modern digital twist near the bar.
Our server was super fast and pleasant. She recited her drink and dinner specials and promptly took our drink orders.
We ordered the Eggplant Parm and Shrimp & Grits. Dinners come with salad and hot garlic bread.
We chose Greek salads which were crisp, fresh, and cold. It’s refreshing to have a restaurant serve salad in cold plates. The salad was covered with feta cheese and contained lots of delicious meats. The house vinaigrette dressing was light and refreshing.
Our entrees arrived soon after our salads were finished, both piping hot and inviting.
My partner order the Eggplant Parm which she ordered with spaghetti pasta and meat sauce. The egglant was fried perfectly and very tender. There was a slight crunch on the crust as it should be. The pasta was complimented by the very meaty and slightly sweet sauce. Tons of meat with just the right amount of sauce. The cheese topping was wonderful and she didn’t have to add any extra. Good sized portion with enough left over for lunch tomorrow.
I had the Shrimp & Grits. It was recommended to me by other patrons, but I was still hesitant to try it. Being a True Southerner, I am always wary of «the best blah-​blah-​blah» you ever ate. When my plate arrived I was in awe of the portion size and the wonderful aroma. The grits were perfectly done not over cooked. The sauce was creamy with bits of roasted garlic and onion. No additional seasonings needed. The shrimp were tender and fresh. Luckily I saved some garlic bread as I cleaned my plate completely. Something I hardly ever do.
Service was excellent. All of the wait staff takes care of you, not just your initial server. Little did we know that one of the owners came by to check on us as well.
Excellent food with a broad menu. I can see why they get the crowds. Go early, you won’t be disappointed.

Clearly see why this place is number one in Flagler Beach. Its got everything! Great food, great view and great service.
Now I usually do a minor footnote on good service by saying something like — service was friendly and efficient but the service here, though certainly friendly and efficient goes beyond that. Our waitress, (Megan?) was unbelievably great! Super friendly, really helpful and positive and handled a very busy dinner hour with ease.
We began our meal with the flaming cheese which was warm and gooey with just the right amount of tang from the lemon. I had the risotto cake with grilled shrimp and couldn’t have been more satisfied. The cake was perfect and the added balsamic glaze really made the dish come together. My mother in law tried shrimp and grits for the first time. She is now a fan. That is saying something because, let’s just say she doesn’t have a wide repertoire of foods she likes. For dessert we introduced her to chocolate martinis and now we can add another (can we call it a food group?) to her list.
This place exceeded expectations. Even the «Mama» came to help out. She made sure that our leftovers were packed just right. She was the cherry on top of an already perfect dining experience.
Final note, though they don’t take reservations you can call ahead fifteen minutes and get your name on the list.

Everything is awesome. Try it all. My favorite is Popeyes ravioli. Is a delicious spinach and cheese stuffed pasta in a garlic butter sauce. It is to die for.
The staff is top notch, the kitchen is the best in Flagler county. You don’t get much better than Oceanside.
