Back in the 80’s, my father designed software for Atari and built phone modems in our basement. He created the Nite Lite Bulletin Board, a network spanning around Eastern Massachusetts complete with chat rooms and games. This was before internet was even imagined by the public, but it started in me a fascination & familiarity with fixing local people’s computers, networking them together, and explaining technical ideas in ways anyone could understand. Over the years I continued this work and research and expanded to help out small businesses get started or operate more smoothly, while still working personally with local people so they don’t end up paying corporate Geek Squad type places 5x as much for a more impersonal experience. HackTek Solutions may grow larger, but I will always offer discounts to those around the Mass area.
