Hotel Indigo Fishers – Indy’S Uptown Boutique Hotel

This hotel was absolutely stunning and modern. The décor is fantastic and well thought out, from the curved tile wall down to the dark «wood» floors in the elevator. The rooms are beautiful and bright. Every part of the hotel is clean. All of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about restaurants and stores in the area. It was great to have a smiling face greet you after a 10 hour drive. (thanks Levar!) I highly recommend this hotel.

FYI, this is no longer an Indigo; it’s a Holiday Inn Express. For the most part, not much has changed — but one truly weird thing: they removed the glass doors on the shower stalls and put in curtains that stop 6″ short of the edge of the shower. It is literally impossible to NOT swamp the floor! And then they have the obligatory «hang up your towel to use again» — but since I needed two towels to clean up the water on the floor, I chose not to use again. I can’t figure out what brainiac thought the curtains were a good idea — I’m sure the cleaning staff rolls their eyes every time they have to cleanup the mess. Just sayin.
