Not a bad option for your prototypical Chinese buffet. While Café Korea next door would be a MUCH better option I just didn’t have the time today. Trays always seem to be hot and fresh. Most recent visit the hot and sour soup didn’t smell great. But the sesame chicken was really good. Restaurant is clean and there is a huge selection to choose from. For $ 8 it is about what you expect.

It’s as good as I thought it would be. Friend and I wanted to go to a Chinese place to remind ourselves of the old days. Haha. Not expecting much, but Staff was very nice. They do keep their food fresh. But just average. But on the bright side they do keep it rather clean in comparison to other places I’ve been.

Food was plentiful and tasty! Loved that they delivered to us, all the way down on 146th. Everything was hot and got here before the projected time in a Saturday night! The prices aren’t bad for the amount of food you get. I wish the online menu was a little more descriptive.

For a buffet the food is always fresh and there’s enough variety that you can get your fill without breaking the bank. Dumplings are my favorite as are the soups. Also enjoy the spicy green beans! Have to go during peak hours for freshest food but that’s most small buffets.

Great place. Reasonably priced buffet. They make food in small batches so items don’t sit around getting cold. Great place to grab a quick bite.

Our family has been going for years and after the disappointment today we won’t be back. There was not much on the buffet and what was there was old and cold.

I came to this strip mall to go to Café Korea, but alas, it was closed. I was really hungry, so here I came. I’ve been to many Chines Buffets and they’ve all made me feel like shit, but most have been very delicious. This one however was very bland as many have said. The General Chicken wasn’t even fully mixed in the sauce! I’ve never seen this. The food was very fresh when I went, since the dinner had just started. But, it was very bland and not tasty. Sorry guys, step your game up.

I really like this place for both take out and dine in buffet. Delivery is always piping hot and accurate. The staff is friendly. The buffet is smaller than most but I think the quality makes up for it. There crab ragoon is the BEST because it is stuffed full. Their buffet has soups, traditional fare, great desserts and a soft serve ice cream machine. The fried rice is legit with chunks of egg in it. I have never had a bad meal here and my family has ordered here over 20 times. They have a great family deal too that is liberal portions for a great price. Perfect for 4 – 6 people.

Very fresh food and affordable. The workers constantly replaced food before it was completely out, which was great. They don’t have a big variety of food as I expected from a Chinese/American buffet. If you’re okay with having affordable food, something that tastes great, with only the basic choices and nothing fancy, this would be your place!

Probably the worst Chinese buffet I’ve been to in the Indy area. Food was discolored and bland tasting. Even the prepackaged fortune cookies were an odd color.

I’m from Dallas and have yet to find a decent traditional Chinese takeout restaurant in the north Indy area… its quite disappointing. This place is the closest thing to «doable» that I’ve found. I’ve been to other places where the fried rice looks and taste more like yellow mexican rice. This place actually fries the rice. But its nothing im used to, but better than what I’ve had here so far.

Dragon House had the worst grade of meat that I have ever had! My first few bites consisted of a lot of gristle and fat. It was also very bland. I pushed it aside and thought I would at least eat my fortune cookie, but it was completely stale! I tried to call them, and even offered to drive the whole meal back to show them, and they weren’t apologetic at all. They actually seemed annoyed that I had wasted their time! They refused to give me my money back! I wouldn’t suggest this place unless you like roadkill, because I’m assuming that’s what grade of meat they use!

My husband and I tried this tonight via delivery because I have been craving Chinese food. It was really delicious! Quality meat, crisp, fresh vegetables, yummy sauce(I ordered the Szechaun Chicken). I loved that the sauce was not thick and gummy like you find in lesser quality restaurants. Egg rolls were awesome, as was Hot and sour soup. I ordered online for delivery, but didn’t realize that I can’t tip once the delivery person is here if the tip wasn’t included during the original order(FYI). Best I’ve had in a long time!!!

Excellent Chinese buffet! Food is fresh and delicious. I tried this place because the previous review said it was the best Chinese food on the north side and it did not disappoint me!

The food was quality, and I really enjoyed the smaller selection. Very laid back place and decent price for dinner. Glad to of found this place on Unilocal

Last minute decision led me to order delivery from Dragon House. I ordered Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Pot Stickers. The order was taken quickly and the food was delivered in less than 30 minutes. My order was hot and it tasted great. The Shrimp Fried Rice was the best I have ever had. Large, tender shrimps with large pieces of egg and vegetables. I really enjoyed everything. I have eaten the lunch buffet, but never ordered takeout/carry out. I’m glad I did. I will be calling again soon!

Indoor experience… hmm, initial thought was disappointment at the size of the buffet. Had I not known how good the food was, I probably would’ve never given the place a chance at $ 9.50 a person; I think I’ve seen free continental breakfasts at hotels with bigger selections or come to think of it my Lola’s kitchen has had bigger spreads(Lola is gramma in tagalog, a Filipino dialect… and yea I’m Filipina so i might be spoiled in that regard. LoL). Now, with that said… THEFOODTHAT’S THEREISYUMMY(it’s still my go-to for Chinese delivery in fishers***see my first post). I was able to eat all my favs and try some new stuff(maybe you might skip the fried noodles, that’s just my advice… like fried Ramen with sugar and soy sauce). I read on another Unilocal that the desert selection was great but I didn’t see that, but to each their own; my kids did like the puff pastries. THEYDO keep fresh food in the trays at all times, so though the selection is small, it’s tasty and fresh. All-in-all, I’ll be sticking to my delivery for Dragon House, or I’ll order food from the menu so I can take my doggy bag of goodies home. For the price of the buffet it’s a better deal, especially if you know what you like, IMO, to order off the menu. ***TIP: There is a coupon online that will give you a dollar off the buffet but you HAVE to print it out, the cashier was going to let me show it to him on my phone but the owner said that was not happening. Bummer, even the cashier was bummed, it was Mothers Day after all. So print, print, print.

So, one thing no one mentions is that this place has the best desserts in Fishers. Kahlúa brownies, tiramisu cake, eclairs, and more. I don’t know who makes the desserts for their buffet, but I would honestly pay the buffet price just to get those! The Chinese food is just so/so. It’s by no means bad, but none of the entrees stand out all that much either. The General Tso’s chicken borders on actually having some spice, which is nice as most buffet’s avoid spiciness completely for fear of offending sensible pallets. I notice a few reviews below mentioning cleanliness issues, but several of those reviewers seem to be out-of-state. I’m almost wondering if they’ve got the wrong Dragon House and meant to review something in their areas. Dragon House in Fishers is one of the cleanest low-budget Chinese places I’ve ever been in! So it really surprises me to see that as a complaint. I eat there for lunch very regularly and have never noticed the usual caked up grease grime that accumulates in Chinese restaurants or any other dirt or grime for that matter. If you’re in the mood for Chinese food in the Fishers’ area, I think you’ll be hard pressed to find someplace much better. And if you’re in the mood for a good dessert, this is the place I’d start with!

Delicious! They have the best Hot and Sour soup in Indiana. There’s a coupon on their site for 6.95 lunch buffet. It jumps to 9.50(I think) during dinner. Only been there once for dinner and I don’t really see any difference between dinner and lunch menu.

I ordered take out from this place at least once a day when I was here for work. I love Asian food and Chinese take-out is my guilty pleasure. They have a large variety and are very nice when you order and when they bring you your food. I loved the pork ribs when I was here and I got them every time. What stinks is if you wait to late into the day they will run out, but it was worth it when I got it the other days. I don’t know what else to say about this place since it is a Chinese take-out place, and you can get these dishes anywhere else, but if you are looking for a lace that delivers and want Chinese food this place is great! I still think about their pork spare ribs!
