Beverly’s Pet Resort

When I told my dog that I was taking him to Beverly’s today to play with his buddies, he laid by the door for 45 minutes, waiting to leave. He loves the play room at Beverly’s. They greet him by name and love all the dogs that stay there. Thank you to the staff for providing enormous love to the dogs who come stay with you. #cainthedoggie

We booked our black lab Buddy for an overnight stay this past weekend. We were headed out of town and unfortunately my mother-in-law’s dog doesn’t like him, so we didn’t have a choice. BUT, as soon as we picked him up, I knew we made the right decision!
Our poor pup is a rescue, and after being born in the shelter, adopted and abandoned, he’s got some separation issues needless to say. I was super worried about leaving him overnight, especially it being our first time away from him. The staff at Beverly’s did a wonderful job with him! You can tell they really care about the animals. Everyone is friendly and helpful. As soon as we picked Buddy up, I knew I didn’t have any reason to worry. He was happy, excited and worn out! I paid a bit extra for a half day in their bark park, which was money well spent! He slept the entire two days following.
Their prices seem to be in line with other competition, nothing crazy high. I did have to pay a tiny bit extra for his medication to be given to him, but I expected that. Their facility is clean and well maintained, with an indoor play room and an outdoor bark park. Highly recommended, I’ll be bringing Buddy back for doggie day care soon!

This is an update to my review from this summer regarding the amazing bark park and I have upped the rating from 4 to 5 stars. My hesitation regarding Beverly’s being geared towards smaller and less active dogs no longer holds water. Booker has been a regular at the bark park for a while now and we couldn’t be more pleased. One thing that really impressed me is that late this summer a small decorative tree died in the large park and it was removed and taken care of in a professional and timely manner. This pride of ownership is reflected throughout the entire resort.
Booker has finally tried out the doggy daycare in the new romp room. I was apprehensive at first because I know Booker loves to run and was unsure how Booker would take to a (seemingly) smaller space than some day cares that have massive open concept sealed concrete spaces. Even with just one experience, the staff assuaged all of my potential worries.
I called the day before and asked what the process was to have Booker attend day care. I was told that Booker would need to be evaluated before being allowed to play openly with the other dogs, and that the evaluator would be in by 8am.
The next morning Booker and I arrived a few minutes after 8am, and the evaluator was running late. The girl at the front desk knew Booker from previous boarding and bark park experience, and said that she did not believe there would be a problem. She suggested that I leave Booker there to be evaluated when her coworker arrived. I was pleasantly surprised by this thoughtful and convenient suggestion, and asked her to call me if there were any issues.
Upon returning that evening, I was greeted by a TIRED, HAPPY puppy. The girls at the front desk talked about what a fun day he had had and gave me both his initial behavioral evaluation and a little «report card» for that day.
The initial behavioral evaluation indicated the Booker was happy and excited about everyone and everything with four legs or two (no surprise to this GSP mom) and that he was approved for daycare «with restrictions» because he is not neutered and would need to be monitored carefully. I have no issue with this, the date is set for his neuter and he has not shown any aggressive tendencies around other dogs. I am appreciative that the staff is so attentive to individual dog personalities. The little report card was absolutely darling, and included Booker’s activities for the day and who his favorite canine playmate was.
It’s the little touches and attention to detail that enable me to trust Beverly’s with Booker whether I am gone for a half day or a whole week. I live much closer to dog services and day cares in fishers and broad ripple, and yet choose to drive up to Noblesville in order to spend time at Beverly’s. The people, process, and product are all top notch.
