This pizza would have been really good if they wouldn’t have messed up my order. I don’t eat meat on my pizza. I called for delivery And ordered a mushroom and red onion pizza And they delivered a sausage and pepperoni pizza to me. Talk about disappointing

The pizza takes forever to come out but it’s so cheesy and delicious. The breadsticks are also fantastic. Just be prepared to wait

They make their own dough, make their own sauce, fresh ingredients, locally owned and managed, and a great beer selection. I highly recommend Apezza! I’ll be back to try their deep dish pizza and wings.

Ordered for pick up the deep dish pizza with sausage and mushrooms. It’s a huge pizza with lots of ingredients including tomato sauce…2 ten ounce ladles… which makes the pizza more like lasagna. The sauce totally dominates the pizza leaving the sausage and mushrooms almost irrelevant. As ordered and with tax the deep dish was $ 24+ and not worth the money! Bill V.

We just tried Apezza for the first time. The pizza was amazing. Great sauce and great crust. My husband is a pizza aficionado and he and I both loved it. The manager was extremely nice and attentive. We didn’t experience any of the poor service as referenced by other reviewers. Please try Apezza so we have this yummy pizza available to us for a long, long time.

I lament Noble Roman’s Deep dish sicilian– nobody on this side of town has it.(except Jett’s– pretty good as far as deep dish sicilian’s go.) Nancy’s was our go to for Chicago style pies– well, they’re gone too. So then we tried South of Chicago’s. Um, no. I noticed the sign at Apeeza– Chicago Style deep dish. Gave it a shot. AMAZING!!! BEST red sauce(and properly measured, not too much but yet, just enough.) Homemade italian sausage– chunky and TASTY!!! Added pepperoni and jalapeños to the mix and we found a WINNER! Takes a while– ours was 45 minutes, but we ordered carry out. I have to say it was cooked all the way through, not soggy in the middle like we sometimes get with Chicago style pies. This is a local spot, great food. The dining room is small, but that’s ok. Service has been decent while there, not outstanding. Honestly– don’t care about the dining room or the service– THEPIEISAMAZING!

I LOVE their pizza. It is by far some of the best in the area. We have only gotten delivery and that normally runs about 60 minutes so I would make sure you take that into account when ordering. However, we love their pizzas and salads so much that we don’t mind the wait.

We ordered a pizza and breadsticks by phone. The address was easy and they said it would be 45 minutes to deliver. After waiting 50 minutes I noticed a car sitting by the curb. Nobody got out. It just sat. Finally it pulled away. I called the restaurant and asked about my order. They said that could have been him. They don’t have his cell number because he is new. They said to wait another half hour and they would call back. Or he may try to deliver again. I called back and asked them to cancel my order. They did not say anything else. Disappointed.

We randomly decided to try their pizza one night about 4 months ago and it’s the only thing we get now when we want pizza. Every now and then i’ll order something different and it is always delicious. The breadsticks are unbelievable and the pizza, well it speaks for itself!

The service was absolutely terrible but the pizza was delicious. When we walked in, we waited about 10 minutes at the host stand before a server came out and seated us. We ordered bread sticks and a large specialty pizza to share. The bread sticks came out relatively quick. They left much to be desired though. The bread was bland. On the menu, they are described as garlic bread sticks but I did not taste any garlic at all. I would not order those again. About 20 minutes after we ordered we hadn’t received our pizza. Our server was no where to be found this whole time. Finally he came out and I asked him if our food was coming out soon and he said the pizza got messed up in the oven so they were remaking it. Another 20 minutes passed and still no pizza. Again, our server was no where to be found. About 10 minutes later he came out and I told him we needed to go. We had our 4 month old with us who was starting to fuss after being there for an hour at this point. Our server apologized and said the pizza should be out shortly. He came back with our check, our pizza in a box, and told us the pizza was on the house. Once we got home, we ate the pizza. It was excellent. Very cheesy, full of toppings, and the flavor was excellent.

Amazing breadsticks. Pizza was phenomenal. Way better experience than the stuffy Detour next door.

This place was one if my favorites but it will be a little while until I order from here again for a couple reasons. 1 There is no supervision here. I like that they are giving hs kids a job, but when they are all talking on the work phone to their friends it can be counterproductive and unprofessional. Needless to say especially when they are wresting over who can talk on the phone about where they are all meeting for dinner after work. I hope nobody was calling to order pizza while this was going on. 2 This may be just my opinion but $ 34 is a lot of money for a large ½ cheese ½ meat lovers pizza and breadsticks. It’s good, but I have a hard time paying that much on a regular basis. 3 I don’t know if I received a bad batch or they changed their recipe but the breadsticks weren’t even close to what I was used to. These used to be my favorite, but tonight they were completely different and just not the quality I was used to. Very plain and forgettable. 4 My last complaint was there was a hair in our pizza. Not a small one, but a nice 4−5″ one. I understand stuff happens and it’s not intentional, but after paying $ 34 I don’t really expect hair in my food. And after I was able to observe all the horse play where the pizza is cooked, I understand why quality control is lacking. Again I really liked this place and used to eat it regularity, but after the culmination of all these factors it will be a little while before I return.

The service here was terrible at best. I stood at the hostess station with two other parties for almost 10 minutes before one of the other parites got impatient and went to find someone. Once seated it took almost 20 minutes to place my order(lemon garlic wings and a corned beef sandwich). The wings came out about 15 minutes after that and has no seasoning what so ever. I would have sent them back but I didn’t see my server for another 15 minutes. Then my sandwich took and additional 15 minutes to come out. The wings were good but I am sure they would have been amazing with some flavor. The corned beef was really good but the portion was small and it came with a really small side of chips. I had to go to the kitchen to find my server and get my bill. He apologized for everything taking so long and offered a couple of beers on the house but I just wanted to get out of there at that point. I would skip this place all together.

Pizza is great, but the service is absolutely terrible. Whole place is run by kids, who have absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. DONOT get salads from here. I watched in disgust as a salad was made with bare hands… no gloves. Just grabbing lettuce and toppings and putting them into a bowl. NOTHING is ever ready when they say it will be ready… delivery or pickup, and quite frankly, they could care less. There is a reason why you never see anyone dining in there. Avoid this place at all costs.

Delicious pizza and breadsticks. The dough is fresh and crispy. Its easy to miss tucked in the strip mall between Zogurts and Detour. HIGHLY recommend take out as opposed to dining in. There aren’t enough servers for the dining room.

We got delivery and took only 20 mins. Fantastic pizza with a plenty of toppings and a rich sauce. Breadsticks are a must as they are spectacular.

The FOOD here was good. The service left much to be desired. I ordered a house salad(romaine lettuce, tomato, black olives, and cheese) with homemade ranch dressing — delicious! If you order a salad here, be warned! It’s not a side salad! It is large enough to share with 4 people.(I’m not sayin’ that’s a bad thing!) Pizzas come in small and large. You can get thin crust or regular. The small is big enough to split between two people, especially if you order one of their monster salads! Their breadsticks are baked fresh and come out wonderfully warm and doughy. Like some of the other reviewers mentioned, the place is run entirely by kids. We waited a long time for our food and it did not come out the way we ordered it. And our waitress seemed like she might have been high. She kept giggling and apologizing. Even though I liked the food, I will have a hard time convincing my friends to come back here because the overall experience just wasn’t that great.

Desperately need to hire some staff. Once we got our food, it was fine. House salad is large enough for two to share. Ordered The Unmatched pizza, regular crust. Veggies were crisp, good amount of gooey cheese.

Disappointment. We used a Living Social coupon for a specialty pizza which wasn’t so special. Everything about it was just ho hum. The crust was average. The toppings were good and I didn’t feel as though they skimped on them which was a plus. The cheese was fine and the sauce was blah. The whole thing was relatively flavorless with no spice to it. Maybe it could have used more oregano? The topping choices all seemed fairly typical for a pizza joint. There was no variety in cheeses which I think could have helped. There was nothing about this place that stood out and made me think it would be worth returning. I could get more flavor from a Pizza Hut or Papa Johns. Bummer.
