History

Established in 1981.

Opened as a shot and beer bar May 8th, 1981. Started selling tacos, tostados, burritos, and nachos in November of that year. It grew from there and now Olers is a must go to place in Findlay

Business Owner

From a family of 14, six brothers and seven sisters, I began working in the restaurant industry as a busboy at the age of 12 in 1967. Ending up owning it (Dark Horse Restaurant) in 1988. At one time I was involved in operating four restaurants, now just Olers Bar & Grill. Twenty five years ago my sister Debbie Cooper came to work at Olers as a manager and is now my partner. She is responsible for all phases of the operation. I’ve been a Contractor, Metal Fabrication shop owner and worker and a Cowboy, owning a ranch in New Mexico for ten years. All while staying and working in the restaurant industry.
