History
Established in 1963.
House of Color was formally known as Myers House of Color. Myers House of Color was formed in 1963 by the Myers family and would remain that way until January 2000. Along with flooring, Myers House of Color also sold paint, window treatments, and wall paper. Myers House of Color had a very prestigious reputation for quality and customer service. To build upon this reputation, they hired Sharon Miles in 1990 to head up their small flooring department.
Sharon purchased the flooring business only from the Myers family and changed the name to House of Color in January 2000. In January 2001 House of Colors moved into their current location at 406 Walnut Street.
In the fall of 2010 they will be moving into a new building at 523 E. Bigelow Ave Findlay that will be over 9300 sqft and will be total renovated.
