Meet the Business Owner

Chris G.

Business Owner

Chris is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. In Al Qaim, Iraq 2005 is when he was first drawn to the «working dog.» Handling the Marine’s camp dogs gave him the first experience & joy of being a leader on a team with a dog. After the military he attended the Animal Behavior College where he graduated with honors & worked at local shelters helping prepare dogs for a new home. After graduating, Chris occasionally worked with wolves at the Lockwood Animal Rescue Center. He then took a full time job at the Dog Psychology Center focusing on aggressive dogs. He decided to branch out on his own to develop a balanced training approach. Today he lends a helping hand to his fellow Veterans with PTSD by teaching them the sport of herding with their own dog to help alleviate the stress & discomfort of PTSD. Chris is serves his community by helping owners & their dogs live a healthy, positive life within their pack at home.
