Established in 2001.

Harmonic Design was started by John Rutter in 2001 as a small custom woodworking shop. In the early days, projects included built-​ins, murphy beds, desks, tables, and cabinetry. In 2005, the business moved from Bellingham to Ferndale. Today, the main product is wholesale custom cabinet doors to support local cabinet makers and contractors. Every door is custom built to specification. Lead time from order to delivery is 2 weeks or less.
