Specialties
A friendly neighborhood bar where everyone is welcome. Most of our customers are from the area, but we have had people stop in from all over the world. Resonable prices, good bar food and a friendly staff that can give it as well as it takes it.
History
Established in 1985.
Originally this establishment was Nick’s Coney Island. In the 1960’s when Ferndale voted to allow liquor by the glass, Nick was one of the first (if not the first) to get a class C liquor license, and changed the name to Nick’s Bar and Grill. In 1985 Dan Reedy purchased Nick’s from Nick Pappas and in 1986 he married Sally Reich who became his partner. The name remained Nicks until an unfortunate accident broke the floresent sign in the window and the name was changed to Danny’s Irish Pub. The bar has seen many changes since then and has indured and florished over the last 27 years.
