definitely don’t take this tour! We tried to take this tour two days in a row we called and confirm The time of departure and two days in a row they didn’t show up to leave we called again only to be given some excuse and a half handed I’m sorry as to why they weren’t going. They are unreliable and don’t care about their customers definitely don’t take this trolley

Great tour, very informative. Our tour guide was Reggie was very good. He provided information at every historic place on the tour. I would recommend this tour. I did have a problem contacting them on the phone — nobody answered the phone, just the answering machine. We just met the trolley at the end of Centre street instead of scheduling a reservation.

Good history about the island. Fun way to see it all without a car (we are on a boat)! Reggie was a great host and tour guide!

Good way to to learn more about the area. We did not get Connie, the much written about guide, we wished we had. Our guide could have been more knowledgeable, less gregarious. If you go when it’s too cold to have the plastic windows rolled up you can’t see out. We had to roll the window down and I really didn’t like that I couldn’t see through the blurry plastic. Not worth $ 20 if you can’t see.

We had a tour with Reggie and it was a great way to see the island. He took us to see all the mansions and provided us with a history lesson of each one.

I give them a four. This is a tourist trolley that takes you on a ride thru the island, pointing out historic houses and buildings, while telling stories of the historic people.
Call for tour times (e.g., 11:30am), or ask in the visitors bureau in the historic depot.
Trolley tour takes about an hour.
