Recently I purchased my Fall application of gypsum. On my way home, I started thinking about the price of what I had just purchased, so I stopped at Lowes out of curiosity to see what I would have paid there, since I had bought it from Lowes in the past. My memory was correct. Lowes was nearly 3 times the price on a per pound basis. On top of that, the product at Supreme Turf is «greens grade», a nice spreadable granule. The Lowes product comprised large prills, ranging from BB to pea sized.
My lawn made it through the hot summer of 2012 looking the best it ever has and I did not pay a premium for the products I used. It really is worth the drive to Fenton for great products and professional advice. Great pricing is just a bonus.
