History

Established in 1989.

The Hyde family’s 100 year tradition of sheet metal work began in 1910, when David and James Hyde established a small heating and sheet metal business, initially known as David J. Hyde Cornice and Furnace Works.

Today, David J. Hyde III, grandson of original co-​founder David J. Hyde I, continues the family’s tradition of sheet metal work as owner and president of David Hyde and Associates, d.b.a. DHA Sheet Metal. David’s son Tom has joined the business, extending the family’s sheet metal tradition into a fourth generation.

Business Owner

David J. Hyde III has been working with sheet metal since he was a teenager, serving his apprenticeship at the same time he was in college. Upon graduation, he joined the family business, but eventually decided to strike out on his own. He founded David Hyde and Associates, d.b.a. DHA Sheet Metal, in 1989.
