History

Established in 2001.

We come honestly to this little endeavor with old roots in the art of treasure finding. It was the patriarch of our family who first spoke the words «But it’s still good!». As legend is told, Dad (age four), arrived home one day with an old, porcelain chamber pot in his wagon. Aunt Madeline took one look at the pot and exclaimed, «Kenneth what are you doing with that old, broken pee pot?» to which he innocently replied, «But it’s still good!» To this day we carry on the proud tradition of finding new homes for old pots!

Fratz’ Consignment, with its star logo, is a tribute to Dad (Flint Police Officer) who died in 2001 after a ten month battle with brain cancer. It was while caring for him that we conceived and developed a business plan for the store. The star represents his honest spirit which continues to guide us. We chose Fenton because it is our hometown — we are all about family, home and community.
