Great customer service, great selection, competitive prices, best bike shop in mid-​michigan!

Cyclefit is a really great place. Great Prices, Matt and Ryan are really awesome. The after purchase support is the best part of buying a bike from Cyclefit.

The store has a great selection and is well stocked. However, the service left a bad taste in my mouth. I was told it would cost over $ 50 to repair a bike and a quick google search solved almost everything. The kicker was when I said I had to go north later so I was going to stop at a specific shop up there. I was immediately told they were backed up over two weeks and I wouldn’t get the issue fixed. Well, it got done in a half hour. That showed a lack of character to me and I will not be returning here again.

I found Cyclefit online while looking for triathlon wetsuits to rent. I was participating in an open water swim in the Upper Peninsula, and I had a great deal of difficulty finding a shop that rented these suits. In addition, I am not a triathlete, so the size I needed was difficult to find. Cyclefit was the only shop I found in the metro area that could help me, and I was greatly relieved to find them.
I called Cyclefit ten days before my event and explained my situation. I detailed what I needed, for what kind of event, and when I would come in to pick up the suit. I was assured that the wetsuit would be available and went on with my week.
I went to pick up the suit on the agreed-​upon day and found a clerk looking blankly back at me. He checked the stock, looked at the order slip, and checked the stock again. He asked the other employee about the order. He called the woman who had ordered the suit from supplier. Then he turned to me and said, «Now when was your event? She ordered that suit yesterday.» I’m thinking, «why would I drive up from Royal Oak to Fenton unless it was to pick up the order???» I said, «I’m on my way there now.» The clerk’s response was, «Oh. It’s not here.»
I called later in the day to ensure that I had not been charged for the order, and the man to whom I spoke was apologetic. He told me that I should expect to hear from the owner who, he was sure, would try to make this right. I was unclear how he could; what do I need from a cycle shop 30 miles from my house? I’m still waiting to hear from the owner a week later.

I’ve stopped by Cyclefit several times in the past few years when I needed my bike tuned up and when I was looking for a new tire for my bike after I managed to shred it on some rough rocks in the woods.
I checked other stores for the proper sized tire with the tread that I wanted and it was nowhere to be found. Cyclefit had one. They have everything I’ve needed, so I now don’t even bother wasting my time with other stores.
I’ll be upgrading my bike soon and I’m definitely stopping by here to see what I can get.

I am currently in Cali, and I had seen some of Cyclefit’s items listed on eBay. I had noticed a particular pair of Pearl Izumi bike shoes and emailed the seller asking if I could come check them out while I was in town. They said of course. Cyclefit is across the street from my mom’s place, so while I was home visiting we went across the street to check it out (my mom, my boyfriend, and I are all into road biking).
The guys working there were quite helpful. I explained that I had inquired about the shoes listed on eBay. I tried on the shoes and they were a perfect fit. I offered them a bit lower than they had the shoes listed at (it had been a «Buy it Now or Best Offer» auction) and they accepted my offer! I ended up getting the shoes at half off the retail price. Awesome.
All of the goods in the store looked to be high quality. I’m really hankering for a pair of their «Surrender the Booty» bike shorts!
