Beneath the Redwoods Mobile Veterinary Service

I had seen this vet years ago to have my two cats at the time neutered. The experience was great, the vet was friendly, and having them come to my studio in Brookdale was more than convenient. Although I have not used their services in years, I needed neutering services for my dog and after my great previous experience, called to try to schedule an appointment for him. I was shocked at how rude Beth was to me. While I wasn’t too put off that she couldn’t find me on their system (I’ve been married since then, and she never offered to look up my maiden name)/she kept trying to dissuade me from scheduling with them repeating several times that they «were not a low cost service» and «its not like we only charge $ 50». I am so utterly offended that this business would presume I could not afford their services without even speaking with me! Outrageous! I was ready to pay the $ 300 she eventually quoted me after I insisted, and had honestly expected to pay more. Ridiculous experience. Badly run business, no matter how good with animals you are.

Wow. Thanks to Facebook, I received tons of suggestions from people to use them. They came to my house ontime, and their van fit purrrrrrfectly in my front driveway. they were so nice and professional, knowledgeable, and affordable. I am so absolutely relieved to find top notch mobile vets so my poor babies Larry and Hasani do not have to endure a drive to the vets. THANK YOU for a wonderful service. Was a pleasure meeting you folks.

If not for their kind, compassionate and caring help it would have been very hard. Our delightful tortoise shell who we raised from two days old, just started to fade. Unfortunately it turns out her kidneys failed, but from the initial appointment (they may not be an emergency service, but they made room for us when we needed them) to today when we had to put our girl to sleep they were the best! And while yes this is a testimonial in a hard situation, they also did a lot to help one of Havoc’s litter mates pull through one of those cat psycho situations! We will not ever use anyone else!

Beth and Steve are the most amazing team we’ve ever had the pleasure to do business with. They are compassionate, professional and obviously love their work.
We have a rescued dog who has a lot of autoimmune disorders, but is a very happy playful dog. His teeth were very bad due to excessive licking of his itchy skin. They came to our home, put him in the mobile «hospital» and anesthetized him and extracted about 8 teeth. They stayed until Oli was awake and able to walk around and made our life (and the dog’s!) so much better! Oli could once again eat without pain and is now a much happier and healthier dog. Thanks, Dr. Steve and Beth! It’s such a relief to know you’ll come to us and relieve that part of the trauma for the dog!

the team is very professional-​they listened to my concerns and did what i needed, even though it was not following regular procedure. They made my old buddy very comfortable and treated him like their own. My old guy will be leaving us soon and they were able to make his last days more comfortable.

With these guys you get top notch service– immediately! They always show up on time (mobile practice– they come to you), and you get great care from both Beth and Dr. Steve during your entire appt. I love that neither I, nor my pets, ever have to wait in a waiting room. That can be so stressful for the animals. They are just so wonderful and easy to work with– can’t recommend highly enough!

I was very impressed with Beneath the Redwoods Mobile Vet. I left a message on Sunday, and they were able to treat my cat on Monday morning. They cleaned his wound, told me to use hot compresses on it, and gave me the antibiotics drops to administer 2x a day. They also updated all his shots.
Best vet experience I’ve ever had!
