The Ridge & Shores Apartments

POS apartments. Garbage always overflowing and after our short term 90 day least they charged us a ton of money in addition to the deposits. Never in my life have I damaged an apartment and this time was no exception. They used a 3^rd party to «assess» the apartment and make it ready so naturally they charged for everything they could. Disgusting business practice. Not to mention the misinformation and poorly informed office staff. One girl was great, the rest seemed incompetent.

Probably the best apartment experience I’ve ever had. The units are nice and tucked away from a lot of commotion, and I could barely hear street traffic despite being in one of the first units in the development.
The leasing agents were phenomenal. Megan, Nichole, Jackie (I apologize if I spelled your names wrong!) were so friendly and accommodating it was almost surreal. It felt like they truly wanted us living there, and even made every accommodation to ease it. We were able to move in a day early, get a short-​term lease to fit our needs, and when I found my work contract expired early, the termination process was quick, easy, and fairly inexpensive.
I’m really sad I wasn’t able to stay longer at this place. The property is well-​kept, the staff is all friendly, and the neighbors all kept to themselves and were nice as well whenever I had interactions with them.
Also, rent is very, very fairly priced here. There’s a dog park right around the corner, everything you could possibly need just 1 minute drive away, quick access to and from I-​5, and the area seems pretty low key and safe.
Please note that my experience involved the 2-​bedroom suites on the Shores side.

Well I told the Ridge Managers that we were not going to renew the lease this time. Looking to move in August when the lease is up.
YEAP just like they did the neighbors when they did not renew their lease — they did us the same way –
The Ridge Management RAISED the MONTH TO MONTH RENT OVER $ 200.00! Plus we STILL have to pay the water, trash, sewer and $ 3.00 admin fee.

THEN ADDED AN ADDITIONAL $ 100.00 THE THE RENT RAISE CALLING IT AN «LOCAL HOUSING MARKET INCREASE» — I was floored!
IS THAT EVEN LEGAL IN KING COUNTY?
Someone let me know because this feels like «slum lord» tactics.
Plus if you do not give notice by the 10^th of the month that you are moving The Ridge says you have to pay the next month’s rent in full — no discounts + have to pay the water, trash, sewer and $ 3.00 admin fee.
