Magic Auto Sound

These guys (family) hooked me up. Brought in my 2002 Jaguar, and they set me up with a thunderous JBL sub, amplifier, & Apple CarPlay hookup. I was quoted the same thing for nearly $ 1500 more in Seattle! The guy I worked with was very straight with me about everything, and I never felt like he was pressuring me or trying to overcharge me. Took nearly all day for them to hook everything up, and aside from one minor issue with the CarPlay features initially, the end result has been stellar. I get compliments on the sub constantly and my friends are jealous of my new Apple CarPlay features. Definitely check these guys out when you’re shopping around! They’ve earned my future business!

For about 3 months I have been scouting for car stereo upgrade to my JBL disc changer system since it started showing signs that it is about to expire. I have checked around several places including the famous Car Toys. I decided to check Unilocal for some feedback/​reviews and came across Magic Auto Sound.
Family-​run business. I had a touch-​screen/​dvd stereo system installed. Brian was the one who set-​up everything for me. He was nice enough to also replace a busted center console lightbulb at no charge. In the end, I also ended up adding a back-​up camera installed. Everyone is friendly and accommodating.
I am so pleased I checked Unilocal first because I would not have found Magic. Don’t even go anywhere else. I highly recommend Magic.
Next time, I will come back to get HID installed.

Best window tinting hands down. They went above and beyond to ensure no bubbles were present anywhere. Cleanest job i’ve ever been a part of. Definitely found a life long customer.

I went in there last monday with my honda civic 2010 and this was by far the best tinting installation I’ve had. Previously, the tinting on my car formed an incredible amount of bubbles and i needed a new look to get rid of the formations. I highly recommend this shop since they did such an amazing job. I dont doubt their sound system installation is on par or even better than their tint job. Thanks brian!

I neglected to rate this place, but they deserve it. I brought in my 99 Corolla for a tint. Although the car is old, it runs like new, so I plan on keeping it. I had a discussion with them about the tint I wanted and they got right to it. It did take a while, but the job was perfect.
My car now looks so much better and it is more comfortable. I recommend this tinting to anyone keeping their car and I especially recommend Magic Auto Soung

First off lets just say it’s actually really nice in person compared to pictures lol this shop is surrounded by a whole bunch of other Automotive shops. Family owned and they were super friendly! Brian was very helpful and nice and his brother (didn’t get his name) was very professional as well. Got my windows tinted 20% all around and it looks wonderfully, just what I wanted. Not too light and not too dark. Definitely will recommend this place and will come back in the future! Much thanks to Brian and the rest of the crew for doing a great job and treating me very professional !!

The tint was well done and with lifetime warranty. They beat all local prices. Will be back again.

Brought my car in to get the windows tinted. I had shopped around and they had the best price. The guy did warn me about dark windows being illegal, none of the other places did. He told me it would take about 2 hours and could do it on the spot. I had him place tint over the tint so it voided the warranty they offer. I have a Challenger and the window cracks open whenever the door opens, so he was nice enough to offer me a 30 day warranty. Very good customer service and I would definitely do more business with them!

I had a great experience at Magic Auto Sound. They are newer to the Federal Way area after having run a shop for a long time in California. Given they were new, I was a little hesitant to try them out. Plus my car, a BMW Z3, is really, really hard to work on. I spent a lot of time reading online about special non-​standard speakers that would be required, there was some cutting required on stock sub enclosure, plus it’s a convertible and there just isn’t a lot of space to work in a car like that. Magic Auto Sound replaced all of the stock speakers (6+subwoofer) and they installed an extra set of tweeters (for FREE) with my job which I thought was a nice touch. They also put an amp in the trunk, re-​wired the car, and installed a new Bluetooth deck. Brian handles the customer service and he was easy to work with. Installation was reasonable and the new system sounds great. I had bought a replacement sub for them to install, but it turned out to be the wrong one. They went online and bought the sub I needed for me.
Here are some highlights of my experience:
* The worksmanship on the amp install in the trunk was top notch. The trunk in my car is super small, they built a custom mount, carpeted it (I can’t even tell which carpet they installed vs. what was in there before), mounted the amp. It looks pro.
* I told them on first listen the tweeters sounded quiet. They installed a second pair of tweeters. Sound is amazing.
* Installation was relatively quick and definitely less expensive than I thought it would be.
* They went out of their way to order a custom speaker for my car and have it shipped to them online
* They were very careful to explain how everything worked (I am not an audio person) and make sure I was making the right decision for me and not buying a bunch of stuff I didn’t really want or need
* Good communication. They would call me with ETA on delivery and kept me up to date on progress
One other thing, this is a family shop. They deserve your patronage. Definitely 5 stars.
