I walked in 30 minutes before closing on a Monday night and there were lots of staff members there to help. I just needed a quick $ 15 manicure and they did a great job. Friendly, clean, and cute little place overall. Fair prices and lots of pedicure chairs too!

I have been a customer here for almost 7 years. I am very particular about my manicures as I have an eye for detail and this place has consistently delivered very clean, even and gorgeous manicures.
I typically get shellac. Their shellac selection for brands and colors are nice. If I see something that doesn’t look right with my manicure, I can tell them comfortably and they will fix it without making me feel bad.
Their spa pedicures are relaxing and includes a long massage along with paraffin, hot stones, hot towel, lotion and oil. Their pedicure chairs are fairly new and definitely modern.
They play soothing music and the staff is very quiet when speaking to each other.
Cindy, the owner, is my favorite person to go to. She is kind, accomodating and remembers her customers. She usually has plenty of staff available. I have never had to wait for long and always accepts walk ins.

I went here yesterday for full eyelash extensions because a co worker had hers done here. I showed up 30 mins early for my appt. The lady said oh you’re early, well my other customer is late so I’ll bring you back first. She called the other customer while bringing me back to the room and let her know that she was going to do my lashes first and she can take her time and show up before 6pm. She said it would only take her 30mins to do my lashes. So while she is doing my lashes the other customer shows up and another worker there brought her back to do her waxing. About 10mins later she tells me I’m done and to check my lashes. I’m checking my lashes and it’s not what I expected. I tell her there’s loose lashes and some that are crooked. She gives me the brush to try to fix it myself. I’m brushing and trying to readjust the lashes and fix them and something pokes my eye. She goes maybe it’s your own hair and give me a q-​tip to try to sweep it out. It was one of the lash extensions. I keep trying to fix the lashes. She then tells me I need to hurry up cause she needs to room her other customer… I felt she rushed me when I showed up early for my appt and she didn’t take her time so she can get to her customer who was late… The mink lashes feel great but she did not do a great job like I expected. I guess you get what you pay for.

I visited here on a whim ²⁄₂₁. I went with a mani/​pedi. There where a few other customers all being attended to, I was treated to have two ladies attending to me. Both took great care in my mani/​pedi. Loved the hot wax and stone massage. My manicurist finished up with precise painting and removing any from the sides of my fingers. The oil massage felt wonderful. Very pleased with the service by the staff to the relaxing atmosphere of the salon. Quite pleased. I recommend, great prices too. Staff very attentive and friendly.

So my dad needed a ride home from work in federal way the Deseret Industries and I got there at 5:50 and went inside my dads work and they said he didn’t get off till 630 so I’m thinking great I have time to get a fill and my eyebrows waxed so I called around to see what was open and this place was open. The lady asked how long it would take for me to get there and I said one minute I’m right across the street and I’m on my way I really need them done right away. They said yes yes just come in. So I get there and there’s a huge wall and I hear voices but see NO ONE there to greet me after I JUST CALLED saying I will be there in a minute so I walk around this hideous wall and they ask me to pick a color I already knew what I wanted and picked it out right away and start walking towards the two women one girl was doing the lady’s nails and the lady getting her nails done turns around and says first table sit down I will be there in a couple mins so I said… okay and sat down it is now 6:10 and I have been watching the girl do the lady’s nails for ten mins as they chat it up in another language laugh and joke around and then they side eye me and I am getting really impatient I have my phone out constantly checking the time. So I think they thought I was «fine» since I was using my phone which is not the case at all. So at 6:10 another customer walks in and asks for a pedicure. A worker who just appears out of the back and gets her water started right away and starts working on her feet. mean while I’m just sitting there waiting for someone who works there to finish having her nails done??? so I decided to give them 5 mins before I just walked out. Five mins goes by they have not said one word of English to me. They are only talking to each other so I get up put my nail polish away and start to walk out and as the lady FINALLY gets off her ass and runs to the front saying no no no no wait I’m ready and I said no I’ve been sitting here for 15 mins with no one helping me even though a different lady walked in TEN MINUTES after I had already been sitting there and she got helped right away. The lady was trying to explain that the girl doing the pedicure for the lady that walked in after I did doesn’t know how to do nails she can only do pedicures and I said I don’t care then YOU should have come over to do my nails then INSTEAD of getting YOUR OWN nails done. I could not believe the horrible service at this salon or well the lack their of service. I really needed my nails done that night because I work a 9 – 7 tomorrow (well now today) so I now because of this pathetic excuse for a salon have to wait till Thursday to get my nails done. I feel so disrespected that I was not the priorirty and that the priority was to do some ones nails that actually works there like is this a freaking joke??? You might as well have just locked up because there is no point in opening the doors if your not going to service ALL customers. Just the easy services right? the more time tasking services can wait as well as that customer until you feel like your ready even though the customer made it perfectly clear and called to MAKE SURE it wasn’t busy so she could get in RIGHT AWAY because this customer (me) was on a timecrunch she needed to be outta there by 630. I WILL NEVER COME BACK and I recommend going some where they will actually care about the customer and not ignore you and leave you sitting there for 15 mins while they socialize and proceed to have their own nails done. This place is a JOKE and makes me feel bad for any unknowing woman who mistakenly walks into this pathetic excuse for a nail salon.

Went here today to get a shellac mani, pedi, and an eyebrow wax for my birthday.
Shellac mani was sub par. The girl didn’t even try, Polish is baked on the side of my fingernails.
Pedicure was okay. I’ll give them a star for that.
Oh and the eyebrow wax. Brace yourselves everyone…
Part of my eyebrow is missing! I’m talking BALD. I should’ve asked Cindy to do my brows but I let one of the younger looking girls touch my brow. Every time I look at my brows I am reminded of how upsetting it makes me feel.
I love how the girl even TRIED TO COVER UP HER MISTAKE by saying I was BALD to begin with!!! I can’t even. Looks like I’ll be filling it in w/​a pencil and use eyelash serum to speed up the growth. I’ll be doing my own brows from now on.

I come in every month for an eyelash refill and its $ 30. I love them and I recommend this place to everyone who complements my eyelashes!

My friend from work got her eyelash extensions here. She said they were only $ 50 and since they looked okay I decided to try them out. The woman took me back to what looked like a closet space and asked me to lay down on an old, creaky massage table. She used papery medical tape folded over itself and it stuck my eyelids together. Afterwards, my eyelashes looked spidery, not full like my friend’s. Later, I found out places who do eye lashes should be showing you what kind of curl you would like, and assess how long the lashes should be in relation to your real ones. Not at all what I expected.

I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was relatively busy. I had a pedicure done and I was NOT impressed. The water was cold, I asked them TWICE to make it warmer and it ended up being room temperature. The pedicure only lasted a maxiumum of 15 minutes for EVERYTHING, I am assuming they rushed so they could assist the clients who were waiting for their service to be done so they wouldnt miss out on any money. I RARELY complain about how businesses operate, but this was bad enough that I will never go back. Very disappointing.

I met a girlfriend here for a pedicure. The staff was friendly enough but the pedicure was pointless. The massage lasted less than a minute and they barely scrubbed my feet. I had to go home and remove the dead skin. They put a lot of oil on my feet and then painted my toenails and put my flip flops on. When I stood up, I slid forward and almost fell. I had to wipe my feet off when I got to the car. So… pointless pedicure!

Very disappointed in this place, they are so concerned with getting out the door at exactly 7:30 that they have turned away my business twice. ONLY reason I’m going back is to use the second portion of my gift certificate. The owner (a man) is extremely rude!

Do not go here. My 12 year old & oldest daughter who is 22 went here today & they received horrible service. My 12 year old after the Pedi wasn’t offered flip flops, the woman did her Mani (if you call it that) while she sat in the Pedi chair. After she polished her nails for the less than Sub-​par Mani she did receive she then had my daughter put her own sandals back on! She then had the nerve to be upset with her after her nail polish messed up because of it! She fixed that after a few disgruntled remarks. Then after all this shoty service still charged her the full $ 40!!! This place is a horrible joke!!! Stay away! Far away!

My sisters and I called ahead and were told that they could do 3 pedicures before closing. We went out and at first it seemed amazing. The wax was awesome. However the lady doing my pedicure missed parts of my nail with the polish and did not do a top coat or offer a design. The lady doing my sisters pedicure was very rough and smudged the polish and did not even offer to fix it. I have experienced much better at many other places. Their pedicure was cheaper but as the saying goes «you get what you pay for»!

I agree about the horrible pedicure. I went here with a friend and will never go back. We called to make an appt. but I wouldn’t even call it that since apparently our «appointment» was just them saying to come in (nothing was written down and when I told them my name they just stared at me). We noticed they turned no one away and people who called beforehand to make these «appts» stood around waiting, which was really rude.
The nail polishes were really cheap and poorly painted on and the «Deluxe» Pedicure was mediocre. The hot stone massage lasted for maybe 2 minutes and everything felt really really rushed.
Not worth it at all.

If you want cheap, somewhat fast service and low quality, this is the place to be. First and last time here. I’d rather wait afew days to get an appointment somewhere else and pay more that come here again. The lady who took my shellac off was in a hurry as almost ripped my nails off. All she said was ‘I think we need to wait more’ dahhhh!!!

Great nail salon mani/​pedi 37. Both include parfin. Pedicure includes leg scrub, hot rocks, and warm towel.
Ask for Angela she’s the owners sister. She’s very kind and speaks English.

I had probably the best pedicure ever here a couple of weeks ago… I really enjoyed the experience. I decided to just walk in without an appointment… they accommodated me right away, and I am very pleased with the result. Will be back for sure… and I’m telling all my friends how wonderful it was.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Lamour. I had the Deluxe pedicure. I relaxed while my feet and calves were exfoliated and massaged. The paraffin dip left my feet very soft and the hot stone massage was the pinnacle of the pedicure.
Everyone was friendly, the music playing was nice and the atmosphere pleasant. I really liked it that all the employees wore gloves while giving pedicures and manicures. I will be back for another pedicure soon.
Edit 12÷1÷12 I have had the combo mani/​pedi done a few times and in my opinion it’s not a great service. They are done at the same time, so you can’t relax as you have to keep moving your arms around and I do not find the hand massage relaxing *at all*. Also, I have found that the shaping of your nails and polish application is sloppy when I’ve have purchased the combo package. I will not purchase a mani/​pedi from here again.
Also, I recommend that you do not go here near closing. My experience has been that either they refuse to help you or they speed through the service. The last time I stopped by here after work, the employees sped through my mani/​pedi and we were all out the door 15 minutes earlier than the shop’s posted 7:30 pm closing time. I would take a star away for this disappointing element of their business if I hadn’t already given them 4 stars.

A very special guy friend came with me to get pedicures here. He’d never had it done. He was convinced that it wouldn’t be a good experience and nervous because he is shy and has a slightly skewed opinion on men getting mani/pedi’s. Boy did these ladies change his mind!
I had been in before so don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t leading this guy in blind. I’ve made Lamour my nail stop (officially), if I’m ever in need of any upkeep and I’m south of Pine in Seattle. That is how wonderful they are here.
He enjoyed every minute of it as he should. The pedi chairs are private, with the option to have the curtain drawn if you want that by-​yourself-​feel. The paraffin dip is excellent and they are not stingy in the massaging experience. To be honest, I sometimes feel in other nail shops that all the foreign chatter that is practiced is sort of rude and can be a little awkward but here, they don’t carry on so much. It’s nice and really does keep the atmosphere friendly and relaxed.
For the price at the end, your mind and wallet can be at ease.

So, this is your pretty typical strip mall nail place, with a few twists.
First of all, it’s HUGE! Like, 2 – 3 times the size of a normal nail place. So, they have about six pedicure chairs and lots of sitting/​waiting spaces. BUT usually the average amount of employees are working, so if it’s busy you won’t get any faster service than normal.
I can only speak for the manicures and pedicures, but they definitely go above and beyond. Well, the pedicures are $ 25, so a little steep, with the mani/​pedi combo being $ 37 I believe. However, I swear a pedicure takes a full 45 min — they use hot stones, massage, AND paraffin dipping! You definitely get your money’s worth. Also, when you just want to be left alone and zone out they don’t talk to you, which is a huge plus for me.
Only downside — they don’t use the foot razors :(I know alot of people think they’re nasty, but they get the job done!
