You never know what people are going through but if you work with patients should at the very least have a warm personality. Blonde girl working the front desk — try smiling and work on being kind.
Cynthia that works the front desk is incredible! From what I have seen she is excellent with all patients and situations.

Went to see Dr. T last April. I had laser cataract laser surgery on both eyes. He told me that if I purchased his best lenses. (not covered by insurance), I would never have to wear glasses again. It’s now a year later. After many visits to their offices all over the place, my vision is not good. I was told about a month ago, that is the best they can do. We will see you in about six months. Their employees are very un-​caring people. They told me that they had never even tried to file the $ 5800 charge, I had to pay out of my pocket. One of the women said to another «maybe we should send one of these in and see what happens. I guess they are just to lazy to do it! Their schedulers are terrible. Had me running all over the place. Had to wait at the Auburn Hospital for two hours for a two minute procedure. This was along with two other men who went for the same procedure. My vision SUCKS! And will have to line with it.

Just had my PRK procedure done by Dr. Nicholson last Wednesday. (Could not do LASIK because my cornea was too thin) Everything was explained to me before my procedure and during. Doc was very gentle and a great communicator. My results were fantastic. Would recommend Evergreen to people looking for quality eye care.

Things go pretty quickly here. The eye drops that make your eyes all numb… not okay though. Obviously necessary. The only downside is they don’t do contact perscription.

Dr.B.Nicholson is superb. He tells you what is going on, and in no time it was done. Dr. Nicholson is a great Doc. He called me and home to see how I was doing. Awesome. I totally recommend Dr. NICHOLSON.

Came here several years ago and had lasik surgery on both eyes. Results were marginal. Came back to have cataract surgery in my left eye only. I choose the crystal lens (paid $ 3000.00) out of pocket. Was told I didn’t need surgery in my right eye yet. Not for a few years. Within a few weeks, vision got blurry, was told I now needed cataract surgery in my right eye. Funny how it was needed weeks before? Another $ 3000.00 out of pocket. Still had problems seeing. I now developed a film over my eyes. Was back for laser surgery. Still couldn’t see clearly, now they tell me I needed lasik again in my left eye? I let them do it. After my eyes healed, still had problems seeing clearly. They kept telling me My eyes were perfect, hardly. I went and saw a different eye doctor, was told I had so much scar tissue, my eyes were really bad. Now I were glasses. This place is a waste of time and money. Would not return to this place! It all seemed like money was more important than my eyes!

I’m writing in on my wife’s account since I don’t have one. Dr. B. Nicholson did surgery on my left eye this past Monday and has completely restored my vision. I’m sure I was a difficult patient who gets anxious when anyone’s hands come near my eyes. Dr. Nicholson was very comforting and helped me get through the process.
I cannot thank Dr. Nicholson enough for his dedication to his profession. I also thank him for his service to this great nation while serving in the U.S. Navy.
Everyone I dealt with at the Federal Way office was extremely polite, cordial and helpful. My advice to anyone with cataracts would be, get in there as soon as possible. The procedure is quick, painless and the results are amazing.

I have been to both the Federal Way and Auburn locations and both times had a ok/​decent experience in the office, but terrible customer service and billing once home. They seem to ask for multiple checkups that turned out to be very costly and seemed unnecessary, too. Each time they stated I was paid in full before leaving, yet I received rather expensive bills for charges they had «missed» for half of those visits over 6 months time. Once I could understand, but several times, no. Ridiculous, will not be returning.

Wow! Wonderful job to all the staff here. I was in town on business, had an immediate issue I needed to take care of. Angie helped me to coordinate an office visit and treatment with care and professionalism. I am thoroughly relieved and was able to finish my business trip not missing a step! Thank you all!

I went to this place and had cataracts removed and lens implants done to the tune of $ 6,000 (that I paid out of my pocket). My eyes are worse now than before. I’ve gone back three times only to be told that it’s now something else that is wrong. Why didn’t that show up before all the surgery? I will never go back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone else.

I would not recommend Evergreen eye center. The first visit I waited 20 minutes before being seen then am additional 15 minutes to see the Dr. The second visit I waited 20 minutes then asked why I was waiting again. 10 later someone came to talk to me to let me know that it should be soon. 90 minutes later I wad leaving. The actual appointment lasted 15 minutes. Don’t bother to call, you will get an operator that doesn’t care.

I came here on a recommendation from a good friend. She had a fantastic experience with Dr. Chung and his staff and continues to be pleased with the outcome of her LASIK. Unfortunately, for me (and them) I was anything but satisfied.
My very first appointment with them was in August. This was my consultation to see if I would be a candidate for LASIK. All in all, it went pretty well. At the time, the only thing that I thought was inconvenient/​inefficient was having to go back and forth between the first and second floors to use different equipment and rooms. After meeting with the doctor, I decided to schedule my LASIK for September 21^st (they only do surgeries one Friday a month). There were 3 other appointments, aside from the surgery itself: one pre-​op and two post-​ops. All of these were easily made and I was sent on my way with a packet containing additional information on the doctor, procedure and some pre-​op instructions.
My pre-​op appointment was on September 7, two weeks before my surgery. They redid a couple measurements and gave me more before/​after surgery instructions, as well as all of the necessary prescriptions. So far so good.
Three days before my surgery, I receive a voicemail saying that they needed to reschedule me. From my understanding, they had to move my appointment because there were not enough procedures scheduled. Since they have one day per month dedicated to surgeries, they wanted to make the most out of that day. So, instead of wasting a surgery day on a couple patients, the doctor requested that they be rescheduled. I begrudgingly moved my appointment to October 19^th. To their credit, they understood that I took a day off from work to have this surgery done, and gave me $ 200 off to compensate for that.
ONE DAY before my surgery, I receive another call saying that they have to reschedule me again. This time, their machine is malfunctioning. At this point, I’ve had enough. I cancelled my appointment altogether and asked that they refund the first payment I made. It has been 10 days and I have not received my refund, or any updates about it. On top of that, I purchased my medications back in September and cannot use or return them.
Uh uh, not cool.

I had Lasek surgery here and I would highly recommend it.
Dr. Jarstad is fantastic, the lasek coordinator was great; the offices were comfortable, I felt completely confident that everything including after care would go well, and everything did go very well. I have ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision and I love that I don’t wear glasses.
Unfortunately, I had five appointments and the best timed one was 20 minutes late; the support staff in the OR waiting area was very unprofessional, I think they were chatting to keep us all comfortable before surgery but I found it annoying. I am not particularly interested in the potty training issues you have with your dog when I have just been given 2 Valium and I am about to have someone put a laser on my eyeball.
Overall I recommend it, the positives totally outweigh the negatives just be ready to wait and listen to chatty staff!
