Deli Smith

I wish I had taken a picture, but I couldn’t stop eating long enough to do it!
The chicken salad is FABULOUS. The pickles are perfect. The broccoli salad is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever had to eat. The chai is exactly what I needed on this rainy day!
Plus they deliver! Hardly anywhere delivers to my office and that makes me love them all the more!

I just ate «The Big Mike» at this deli and it was epic. Great customer service, excellent potato salad, and I had my sandwich on a croissant. I will be coming back to work my way through some of the additional specialty sands.
Highly recommended!

Friendly staff Sandwiches are good, get a side and pickle with it. The salads are good, but overpriced. They have a point club for free food.

The first 2 times I have eaten there I enjoyed their egg salad sandwich. I ordered one today, the egg salad was basically mayo and salt… Disgusting! The sourdough bread was stale (like 5 day old bread you’d feed to the birds). So I called thinking perhaps they didn’t know. They actually just didn’t care. They made $ 10 off of me to sell product they should’ve thrown away. I will no longer recommend this deli to anyone else, and I will be sharing my experience with the 300 real estate agents I work with.

I absolutely love this place and the staff is super friendly. I always enjoy coming by for an epic brownie.

Try the breakfast bagel with bagel. It’s REAL food and I’m pretty sure it caused me to talk with my mouth open.

One of the best. Choices are great, bread is good and 2 – 3 pickles do it for me. Potato salad is good also.

This place is great! Good sandwich. I ordered a half a Smith. Crunchy bacon, avocado, and turkey on sourdough. Nice half a sammich with a cup of chicken and dumpling soup! Good stuff! You get a free side and pickle and they have a point club for free food. Prices were reasonable and I’m digging it. Deli Smith is a great lunch place!

Today my co workers purchased their lunches from DeliSmith. I have heard nothing but disappointment and one co worker has gotten sick
Sandwiches are small for the price. A large salad purchased for $ 8 wasn’t even the size of a side salad at Denny’s. I always believe in going local vs big chain if I can but in this case I was glad a visited McDonald’s today instead of joining in with my coworkers.

Stopped in on the way to a business meeting and loved how fresh and tasty the sandwich was. I will be back again when I return to town. Great job!

We have driven past this place a few times and today we decided to stop. I can’t complain (but then I probable will) since it is a basic {very} sandwich place and you get what you pay for. Highlight is they provide pickles — limit of 10 — ate the limit. :)
My biggest issues are — first the sandwich is basic — nothing that I could not make at home. Basic bread, roast beef with lettuce and tomatoes. Nothing wrong with it but nothing special. I was hoping for a more special (tasty) bread — more East Coast.
Second they only have bulk ruffles chips — no selection. She said they don’t sell enough. What came first not enough customers to sell chips or not enough chips to attract customers.
The ½ sandwich is small — suggest getting a large. They also don’t have a soda machine — again the comment was not enough customers — starting to see a pattern. :)
It is (in my opinion) a woman’s deli — nothing wrong with that — just trying to describe the feeling. The owner was very friendly and I have no complaint about the service.

I am in Tucson and wanted to find someone to deliver food in Federal Way for a coworker’s family funeral gathering. I wasn’t sure what I’d find and saw a couple positive reviews of Deli Smith. I called and talked with Gini who was marvelous and helped me figure out all the details. She delivered it all without a hitch and with a hug for my friend. All reports were that the food was fabulous and delivered with everything the family needed for a tasty, seamless event. My only regret is that they don’t deliver to Tucson!

The owner is so bubbly and fun. I had the hungry mouse, which came with pickle and salad. Awesome! It has three cheeses and was grilled to perfection. I feel like I get a better value here then places like Jimmy Johns, and they deliver, too!

Generous servings of quality meat in the sandwiches! I was very impressed. Delicious and a great value (if you buy groceries, you’ll understand).

I stopped by really to break a 10 $ and I’m so glade I stopped here. the place had a very welcoming atmosphere and very family friendly service. My girlfriend and I drove off from the place and as soon as we finished the oatmeal raisin cookie we had to turn around to get another. the couple running the place are very friendly and brighten up the place with there up beat attitude and there food as well. highly recommend this place to anyone in and out of town.

I had 2 great lunches there. The people there are very courteous and friendly, the place is well managed and the sandwiches are the best around. I was so pleased with the salad choices also; I had the pasta broccoli salad and plan on trying their soups when the weather cools down. I also have to mention they offer Dave’s Killer Bread in their selection!

Was looking for a place to grab a quick cold drink on a hot day in between meetings. I found this place and walked in and was greeted by two great energetic people wondering how they could help me. The iced Chai Tea latte was great.
Place has free wi-​fi and great service. Good place to come and grab a quick drink. Definitely come here for the drinks and service.

The broccoli salad is awesome. I like the friendly service as well.

Found this place earlier this year in Federal Way when I was waiting for my dentist’s office to open. As hungry as their fresh baked cookies made me, I didn’t think my dentist would appreciate me eating before my appointment. But I had to have a caramel latte, and the one I got here didn’t disappoint. The owner was very friendly and seemed to know everyone who came in.
After my appointment, I decided the hubby and I needed to have lunch there. I tried their broccoli Salad which was awesome. Hubby’s potato salad was hearty and quite tasty. The sandwiches we ordered came with great pickles. I had the chicken salad sandwich which I enjoyed very much because it had walnuts and cranberries. Hubby tried their meatloaf sandwich and raved at its authentic home-​made taste.
It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, housed in a plaza of business offices. It looks like most of their customers are from the neighboring offices. I hope they help keep this guy in business.
