So, this was my experience with the office staff ie Marcia, over the last forty five minutes or so. I went in to pay rent and was told by her that i needed certified funds for being 2 days late with rent. On the paperwork work posted on my door signed by her, there is a box to check if certified funds are required. It was unchecked. I go in with check in hand ready to pay my bill, she won’t accept it. She says they can request certified funds at any point, and they can. The last time i was 3 days late a check was fine and i am only 2 days late at this point. So, she is making the decision to make it dimore difficult for us. Mind you i have been late with rent twice, this instance included for a total of six days now since she personally wont accept a check and we’ve been here for over two years. She doesn’t like us as tenants because we would like some of the rules enforced for other tennants and expect people not to have charcoal grills or pit bulls or any other breed constantly off their leash. Finally she took the check and i took it back and said you know what, ill have certified funds for you tomorrow, on principle.

I was just charged a $ 50 late fee that posted THE SAME DAY as my electronic rent payment, and there was no disputing it. All of the fixtures and appliances in the apartment are cheap, outdated, don’t work well (seriously, the dishwasher only gets dishes clean if I pretty much completely wash them first) and they have declined to replace the blinds on my deck door for over a year now. They will leave shorted out lights flashing randomly for WEEKS on end, so it feels like a horror movie should you return home after dark and if you have epilepsy it’s probably medically better if you don’t even VISIT anyone who lives here. They have shown up to inspect my apartment days in advance of when my written notices indicated and even showed up for one after I’d called to make sure one wasn’t happening that day. Management has excessive snow and ice removed at their leisure, and I’m honestly just waiting to break a limb on it so I can sue them and afford to move out. The photos show cozy warm looking apartments but every surface in here is white and the cheap fluorescent lighting makes it even worse. Do not give them your business, they will abuse it.

To start with the positives… A new company has taken ownership of the complex and seem like they are putting in some work around the place. The main people I have dealt with in the front office are friendly and seem to genuinely care. It is a bit cheaper than many other places and have yet to encounter any loud party people.
The downside… Apparently the people who lived here before smoked inside. It reeks and for the last month I’ve been trying to improve it to little avail, and I smoke! I didn’t find out until I did a walkthrough after signing. I got an un-​renovated unit and while the service request I put in for everything from a broken towel rod to completely eroded and leaking faucets were dealt with in a timely manner, they were dealt with so incompetently as to make you wonder how the maintenance people still have jobs. I would trust junior high school kids to do a superior job. I do not recommend moving here unless you are at least a little handy. The renovated units are not much more per month but if the maintenance people are the ones doing the work then you are all the worse off. I will not have them back in my home. period. I have already re-​done half their work. No joke. I’m talking water and drain connections, having the dryer vent hooked up right, replacing old or defective faucets. The worst part is that for whatever reason they cant come to grips with what mold is. I’ve talked to a neighbor in a different building and they had the same issue. Not only did they deny that there was any mold, but they proactively made it worse by spray painting over wet, smelly particle board with mold in it, forcing me to do major work so I don’t live in a festering health hazard. And yes I did get a lab report confirming the presence of 4 different mold species just in that one spot.
I am slowly making it better, have not had problems with any neighbors despite a reported assault in the complex. There is a short list of really quirky things i havent run into before like the cold water running really hot for a minute when you first use it and such. Bottom line, if you’re used to relying on yourself and are handy you’ll be fine. If you can afford the time to find a better place and can afford an extra $ 100 a month, it will probably be worth it.

I currently live these «pet friendly» apartments and have been immensely disappointed with them. Besides being way overpriced (which most places are nowadays!), I have had many issues with the apartment complex trying to let numerous people from different companies into my apartment for various inspections. I have no problem with them doing inspections, but as I pay a LOT of money to live here for myself and even rent for my dog, they ought to be accommodating and understanding that first of all, renters should have the right if they want to be present for these, and secondly and most important to me that dogs may not all be okay with strangers entering their area if their owners are not home. I pay pet rent so I know they know that I have a large dog and I tell them each time that I do not own a dog crate, but they refuse to schedule a time for these inspections so that I can be home and make sure my dog does not try to attack an unknown intruder or that they do not let my dog loose. The crazy thing is that my work schedule is flexible so it is not like it would be that inconvenient for them, but each time I try, the office girls are rude and really do not care! This last instance, they said the inspection was going to cover 2 days and could not even provide a time frame when the outside company (wouldn’t even tell me who or for what!) would be entering in every apartment. I first think that is extremely odd that they allow apparently anyone to enter any apartment at any time and secondly that they seem to think that everyone has the means to I guess take their dog to work. What do they expect me to do– pay for doggy daycare? This whole thing is just ridiculous to me and in my now 9 months of living here has happened 4 or 5 times! Aside from this all, which is more than enough to not renew a lease with this management company, there is also a huge problem of people not picking up after their dogs. I realize this is not so much their fault; however, there are more than often no doggy bags available at the stations (especially in the small apartment dog park). Then they request people to use the perimeter of the apartment area to take their dogs out, but they do not even have any doggy bag stations anywhere on the perimeter so people just leave it. Also, I have heard too many stories of cars getting broken into in the parking lot– it just does not always feel safe. On a happy note, the maintenance guys have always been super nice and get stuff fixed in a timely manner. Too bad the office management can not be more like them!

Moved into these apartments July 2013 and have has problems ever since. First issue was mouse! Staff took their time to set up traps months later a trap caught one under the sink took maintenance DAYS to pick it up we had to keep callin because it started smelling! Our sink drain and dishwasher was always flooding! Living room window never locked anytime we had an issue it’d take days for work orders to get put in. Broke our lease, gave a 60 day notice like we were told in order to receive our $ 500 deposit back we moved our last week haven’t heard anything so I went in today to check in and was told by «manager» we wouldn’t get it back because we broke the lease BUT before we moved out I asked her and 2 other staff members and was told by all we would get it back as long as nothing was damaged which it wasn’t and gave the 60 day notice which we also did! She sat there and argued with me about it nowhere in our paper work does it say that but our breaking the lease paper work «isn’t a legal document» I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone! DO NOT MOVE IN HERE! Such a waste of money I wouldn’t live here for free! Worst apartments ever, don’t even deserve the 1 star I HAD to give.

These people are %100 right!!! I’m so mad at this place for my experience living here. The appliances are very out dated. I paid way too much money for the shit hole my boyfriend and I were living in for only 10 months. Seriously that was all I could take. Then when we moved out they tried to charge/​did charge us for things that we either paid on the last months rent, or for keys that we personally handed in and signed for the return of the keys. They also sent us a bill when we moved out that was dated for the 7^th of Feb, and told us we only had 7 days to pay for the bill. I don’t know anybody or any company that pays anything with net payment terms of 7 days! We had an issue with the post office on our forwarding address and did not get it until the 14^th. On the 15^th of Feb a collection agency called my boyfriend only never left a message, saying the bill had already been sent to collections on the 11^th!!! They gave us 11 total days to pay their bill for things we already paid! The apartment never called us before they decided to send it to collections! We never even knew about it!!! The staff is rude, and the new management is a COMPLETE JOKE!!! Not to mention out apartment was a disgusting mess when we moved in. The bathroom was dirty and there were old giant chunks of rotten food left in the dishwasher. The kitchen sink leaked under the counter and created mold and cabinet damage, nobody fixed the mold left under there! They left us to live with mold. I will NEVER recommend this place, and I will NEVER be back. In fact, if anybody ever asks me about this place unfortunately I will only have negative things to tell them about it. Not a single thing was good.
