Impact Thrift Stores is a 501©(3) non-profit organization in business to positively impact local communities through our thrift store operations. We financially support and/or work cooperatively with a variety of locally based charities whose mission is to support children and families in crisis. Our financial support of these local non-profits enables their staff to spend more time doing what they do best — feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, and supporting children and families in need.
At Impact Thrift Stores we accept donations of gently-used or new furniture, clothing, jewelry, tools, electronics, appliances, bric-à-brac and household items. We provide an economic benefit to the local community by selling quality merchandise at affordable prices and act as a «recycler» both literally and figuratively, by accepting donations of items that no longer fit your lifestyle and putting them back in service as well as recycling metals and soft goods.
History
Established in 2001.
Established in 2001 with our first store in Hatboro, PA, Impact Thrift Stores has steadily grown for the past 12 years. In the spring of 2012, we opened our 4th store in Feasterville, Bucks County, PA.
Feasterville Impact Thrift Store is by far the largest Impact Thrift and may in fact be the largest non-profit thrift store on the East Coast. 44,000 square feet of retail space is filled with your generous donations of gently-used clothing, furniture, housewares, jewelry, shoe, handbags, appliances, and more.
Our original store at 14 E. Moreland Ave., Hatboro, is still a vital part of the Hatboro business district. Our two other locations are at 979 Bethlehem Pike in Montgomeryville (the old Atlantic Book Warehouse bldg.) and 1798 Markley Street in Norristown.
Donations are accepted at all 4 locations during the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm — or call (215) 957‑6131 to arrange a free pickup at your convenience for an item (s) that is too large or heavy to fit in your car.
