In 2010, my husband opened a Audio/Video business and had a website designed for the company. The site was generating very little business, so I did lots of research on why this may be. I found that your website is a potential clients first impression of your business, and his website was not presenting a good impression. It was designed, hosted and maintained by a small company, and they had not provided his visitors any insight into what his company offered, his expertise and horrible rankings in search engines. So after doing research and learning how to design a website, I took on the task of building the companies website, adding it to social media sites, updating it weekly, and adding the company to sites where people go to look for services. I enjoyed working on updating and re-designing his site, doing search engine optimization and his business grew greatly. Family, customers and friends were starting businesses, asked me to design their websites and that is how HGC began.
