Siena Strings

Siena Strings is an excellent wedding vendor. We contracted a trio through Siena and found them to be extremely reasonably priced. The main reason I chose Siena Strings is because, Emily, the owner, responded to my email almost immediately when I inquired about services. Emily was on vacation in Italy at the time, but she was still working. I noted her work ethic and decided Siena was the right choice for us, and we were NOT disappointed.
Emily helped me choose our music. I have to say I’m not a classical music buff, but Emily directed me to websites to hear previews of songs, helped me place the ones I like in order with our ceremony, and also provided me with a few different options for the cocktail hour. The music was wonderful. They played every single song to perfection. They were consummate professionals, and I was extremely impressed with their performance.
Highly recommended for ceremonies and cocktail hours. They are extremely reasonably priced and flexible. Excellent with requests.

I contracted Siena Strings to perform a two hour set during Mallory and Pierre’s wedding as my gift to the bride and groom. The string quartet was on time, the performers were so nice and very friendly, and they were magnificent musicians. The first hour the quartet played was classical selections that dovetailed nicely with the wedding ceremony. The second hour was more upbeat and they played in a jazz style during the cocktail hour. I had picked out some very challenging, and yet beautiful pieces, from my favorite composers for the ceremony! The violin and viola were full of emotion during Vivaldi and rich with melody during Handel and Tchaikovsky! The cello and the bass were dignified during Wagner and regal during Mozart. Great sound and wonderful emotion and depth all around! I recommend Siena Strings highly!
