Honey’n’Spice and everything nice and that’s what little girls are made of.
If you have ever helped in planning a wedding, you know how much fun it can be. It can also be quite frustrating. One of my jobs was to choose the invitations and to not forget my daughter’s color, which was peach.
I am the type of person who visualizes exactly what I want and then I go on a search to find it, this is where the frustration comes into play. After looking online and then in the phone book for places to check out, I continued with my quest.
Blindsided, I drive past Honey’n’Spice Print Shop almost daily. One particular day, instead of looking right past it, I stared right at it, while it beckoned to me.
Honey’n’Spice Print Shop is also an event planning service for anything from Baptism’s to Funerals. The two story, wood shingled building and grounds are a little run down. Walking inside is a dismal organized mess. Album upon album is laying in piles all over the place.
I told the very friendly and understanding owner what I had envisioned. With that said, he quickly gathered quite a few samples for me to choose from. What a fine man he is, almost immediately, the invitation that I had been looking for, was right there in front of me.
On the front of the white card, was pearliest white on the two raised love birds, the beads they were holding in their beaks and the rings, strung on the beads were gold. (you can choose silver or keep it all white). The birds were stretched out, as if in flight and meeting each other. I had so many compliments on the invitations, as the RSVP’s poured in.
On the inside of the page it said, «Today I shall marry my best friend and together, we will be one». Everything was in peach, of course. I explained how I would like to have them asap and they were ready in three days, peachy!
Their prices were the best I had seen and included the sheets of tissue for each invitation, RSVP card and the reception card. So, if you are like me and get something in your head, that just has to be and you need it printed, Honey’n’Spice is peachy keen and made my little girl happy.
