No stars I booked with them and my group came and they where closed had to find a another place for all 30 plus people to eat else where the only way of letting us know they where close was Facebook which we all didn’t catch because we were all in church smh no more business for me no response back to my complaint this place get it together Let me cater to you! Oh ps I am letting everyone know not to dine there oh no stars I have it a 1 because I had to

chef judy has another spot in spring lake,. me and my friend walked in yesterday, explaining to chef judy, we are new never been here before,. she was on the phone, and told us to go talk to the other girl… she informed us how it works,. anyways we got our food, from the other girl. went to check out, only to be rushed by chef judy, mind you there was no customers at all in there,./. she has a menu up with what she cooks on certain days,.
the food for thurs, did not match the menu, when we asked she told us, «she dont always go by that». then why have it up, duh. mind you, she has the phone to her ear the entire time. chef judy is very rude lady,… the food was ok… very pricey,. plan to spend, 10 bucks per plate,/ if i go back, i would never eat in.

This is down home cooking at its best! I could eat here everyday. When you find a place like this you wonder how you got along before

Food was good. Went during lunch and had the fried pork chop with green beans and broccoli and cheese. Nice to see the history of the owner on the wall. Would return again. Home cooking at a fair price. Come empty and leave full.

! Love the set up and the food is divine. It’s really the only soul food restaurant here in Fayetteville and honestly it all you need. I wish it was open longer into the evening, but then I would be as big as a house because I would go for lunch and dinner. If you haven’t tried it I advise you to do so, you won’t be sorry.

I’ve been meaning to come here for the longest and I’m glad I finally found the time! Definitely worth the five stars.
The exterior doesn’t look like much, but once inside, it’s reminiscent of a homey warehouse loft. It’s a spacious and nicely decorated space. The staff are super friendly and attentive as well.
You can get one meat-​two sides or two meat-​two sides but the former was enough for me. The fish was tender and seasoned ok, and you can’t go wrong with mashed potatoes, but the fried cheese grits were THE BEST. So cheesy and good. Also, the soft yeast honey butter roll was amazing. As was the peach iced tea.
Anyway, there /​are/​limited hours that are mostly exclusive to lunch but I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Staff was nice. Set up of the restaurant well below average. Price of food too high. Tried it one time, will not return.

I am so happy to have found this gem hidden in the Westwood shopping plaza. The food was outstanding, I have been twice and will keep supporting Chef Judy and her friendly staff. I give her 5 stars for the food but I also would like to give 5 stars for great customer service. The chicken Alfredo, ribs, fried pork chops, mashed potatoes and the broccoli and cheese from scratch is DELICIOUS! The menu changes daily so make sure you check out there website or stop by to grab a card for the daily special. I wish she could be open for dinner but hey I will take lunch for now, after all the do catering as well! Stop by, trust me you will not regret it!

I was extremely saddened to find the Antique Bakery and Café closed. But when one door closes another opens. Located in the same vicinity, across the parking lot, this place opens (or relocates).
A friend (coincidently the same one that showed me antiques), brought me here for lunch. First off, think… Cafeteria style. The décor itself is minimal with tables and booths, however, there is artwork that is hung. The story behind those is that at the chef’s church, during the sermon, people are invited to paint their emotions while hearing the sermon… And then, there is a strange unrelated mural of a South Pacific island scene.
Food, it’s reasonably priced at about $ 10 which gives you one meat and two sides… But it’s hearty portions and you get a soft yeast roll that’s been brushed with honey butter. I happened to go during the soul food menu (menu rotates daily)… I had the BBQ rib tips, which was tender fall apart delicious, Mac and cheese that was perfectly cheesy and baked so you got crispy toppings, and the collard greens (very flavorful but probably a little too salty for my taste). I got a free iced peach tea by checking in on Unilocal,it was super sweet but really good.
It’s extra for salad bar and dessert. They ran out of red velvet by the time we were done, so order dessert when you get the chance :)
They have limited hours, Tuesday thru Friday, so make sure you check before going in… It’s fast and good, heavy military presence during peak lunch hour… So if we are willing to trek from post, you know it’s good!

I was a little hesitant at first because the location is pretty no-​frills, but holy cow was I amazed. The food is awesome– I seriously have dreams at night about the seasoned green beans and peach tea. I’m only in town two days a week (two of which they’re open– WIN) so I’ve only tried a limited piece of what Chef Judy offers up, but EVERYTHING has been top notch. My favorite aside from the green beans is probably the fried pork chops.
The service is also amazing. Chef will stop by your table to welcome you herself if she’s not meeting with a client, and every last staff member is smiling and eager to help.
I’m a little sad that they’re moving away from my office and closer to downtown Fayetteville, but maybe on court dates I can hit them up again? I LOVE this place.
