The Dragon’s lair has been a staple in Fayetteville since the 1980’s. John an Hoyt ran the stores for years. Was strange seeing the new location and owner. Still have comics but the store is so much smaller and a lot less stock. Miss all the extras on the walls and the movies. So much for my lifetime membership to the movie club. Lol. I still have the club card.

Best Comic Book store around! The staff and owner Bernie are the coolest people alive! They love their job which reflects in the store and their customer service. People just go by to hang out and talk. It’s like family in there. Never disappointed! It’s the oldest comic book store around which says alot. Go by and say hello. You will be hooked

I love this place! The staff are great and super helpful. I went in a while back to get my monthly«The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl» and they had what I wanted. I asked them for suggestions on comics I may find interesting(after I told them what I enjoyed). They gave me some great ideas and now i’m hooked. So, instead of just getting my Squirrel Girl there are some others that I am keeping up with. It is always a pleasure going in there. I have absolutely no complaints! Great for all kinds of comics new and old!

Great neat comic shop. Great collection of independent trades. Knowledgeable staff who can help point you in the right direction. Nice meant oldies too. Up to date selection on Marvel and DC trades too. Highly recommended stopping by and they participate in ‘FREECOMICBOOKDAY’(usually around May) with great activities even for kids
