I made the mistake of buying a car sight unseen from Jeff at Yono. It was a mistake. Don’t do it unless you know the dealer! I am 54 years old, have bought a lot of cars, but apparently am still a bit too naïve when buying through the internet. I saw a bad review but disregarded it because I really wanted the car this dealer had. Emotional buy-​in got the better of me. I was told it was perfect, and no, I am not that naïve, I expect some problems buying an old classic car. AC didn’t work despite being told it did, the oil light had been disconnected, one cylinder doesn’t fire, car smokes badly, rust spots weren’t photographed — and he said there was no rust, (I live in California, I don’t know better) The elderly couple who owned it garaged it every winter I was told. An internet search of the previous owner indicates that my vision of elderly is not the same as Jeff’s — though he looks to be nearly my age… When asked about all this I was told, «We are a consignment dealer, we don’t drive our cars». NOW he says that, once the car has been shipped out of state. Go to a dealer, don’t buy without seeing…
