I went here because the CVS on 12 & Middlebelt just cut their pharmacy hours (again) and I discovered the Warren Sav-​Mor pharmacy was open late.
I was surprised to find the extensive variety and unusual things they have for sale — it’s entertaining just to walk up and down the aisles. And unlike the chain drugstores, the greeting card selection here is way over the top — there’s some really great stuff here. Lots of interesting items.

They used to be a very top — over the top –Indy pharmacy with great products and service. It’s declined– greatly– both products and service. what happened??? It’s too bad.

This place is a bit of everything! It is an enigma– part pharmacy, part Hallmark style gift shop, toy shop, Sanrio, boutique, and liquor store. Normally, I say pick one thing, maybe two, and do it well but they do it all well.
After, I stuff myself with more pizza than should be physically possible at atomatos buffet, I always stop here to peruse. This strip mall has atomatos, a salon, a high end Jeweler (Greis), a sock shop (seriously, how is this staying open, must be a high demand for socks), and Johnny Pomodoro’s (nice market with nice flowers too). My mom used to call the plaza the Strawberry Hill plaza, as Nino’s used to be here.
The front of the store is the gift shop, the middle is the toy shop, and the back in the drugstore/​pharmacy, booze is at the check out and along the left side.
If your Jewish friends are getting married, sending their wee one to the WB prerequisite Camp Tamarack, are celebrating Chanukah or a Bar/​Bat Mitzvah you can find the perfect gift full of Chutzpah! They also have fancy candles, cute handbags, a jewelry counter, kick ass Hello Kitty Sanrio selection, beads for your troll bracelet, charms for you charm bracelet, salon brand polish, the list is a mile long.
I ADORE the toys and games… for example, felted puppets, award winning educational games, and games you have never even heard of! Seriously, better than most toy stores… Plus, if you family member is on your last nerve, pick their child up some musical instruments like a recorder or harmonic… it will be music to their ears. After years of stopping by, I have convinced myself I need a Country Treehouse Hedgehog Family, with their entire forest wonderland… they are unbelievably cute and fuzzy! Seriously, I need to have babies, as no grown woman clearly needs a hedgehog magical forest …
