Aloria Skincare & Laser Hair Removal

I used to suffer from controllable neck hair and ask pretty much anyone to «clean» my neck with my trimmer. Then I got referral to Aloria Skincare for laser hair removal. I purchased a package of 6 sessions, and the result even after the 1^st one was mind blowing. Yvonne, the owner, is a beautician and she does a great job. Very professional and she has a great eye for beauty. She noticed a couple of the skin tags I had around the eye area and removed them as well. She has all the state-​of-​the-​art equipment, and very affordable pricing. I highly recommend Aloria to anyone.

5 STAR ALERT ladies! I am fortunate enough to have a best friend who purchased a birthday gift for me at this Skincare Salon. I would not let just anybody do Laser, Electrolysis or Brazilian Wax on me but Yvonne is a world renowned artist! Yvonne also specializes in Laser skin correction and she does permanent makeup as well. Her clients like me (I traveled from SoCal) come from all over the world for her gifted services.
She has at least 47 different education training degrees and specialty certificates under her belt. I’d say that’s a workaholic who LOVES what they do! It took me over three months to get an appointment with her so if you have one don’t miss it for anything! Don’t freak if you have to wait a bit she is very busy juggling multiple jobs especially if her staff isn’t in yet.
Yvonne is so cool she’s like a sister to me and I just love talking with her while she works, one in a million but also someone who is very passionate and caring about her work, it shows. I was already happy when I went here but now I am SUPER happy. Thanks Yvonne!

Wow. Just wow. After being plagued with sparse tiny little eyebrows for most of my adult life, I decided to get the 3d eyebrow tattoo. This process gives the effect of individual hairs, and gives an amazingly realistic look to your brows. I love in New York, and got them done there. I wasn’t happy with my results as I still had no arch.
My sister told me about Yvonne, and booked me an appointment for my next trip to Michigan. I went today, and I am absolutely amazed at her talent. She has given me a brand new look, her attention to detail is stunning. She is truly an artist. I’m soooo happy with the results, it’s completely worth the trip wherever you may live!

I just finished up my very first Brazilian wax. I purchased a Groupon for this place. I was well aware that SOME places might treat groupon customers less-​than. But I was pleasantly surprised when my experience was just the opposite.
First off, I was so impressed by this place. Don’t let the discreet location and modest suite turn you off! Aloria was extremely clean and sanitary, all while prodiving a very comfortable and relaxing ambiance. It didn’t feel «business-​ey» or impersonal at all. I trusted Yvonne right off the bat. She really put me at ease for my first brazillian and exceeded my expectations.
A Brazilian wax is a very… um, personal, experience. Never once did I feel uncomfortable in the spa or embarrassed during my wax (except of course the unavoidable pain! Not her fault!).
She educated me on how a spa who provides such services SHOULD have sanitation as a top priority, and that they do at Aloria. Then she explained HOW they do this by NOT double dipping wax sticks, changing the sheets covering the bed with each new customer, and they are one of the only Spas in the area with an Autoclave Machine (anti-​microbial, doctor’s office level sanitation) that they use for their tweezers.
She was also very thorough in removing ALL the hair down there. Because essentially, that’s why I went in the first place, right?!
Also worth mentioning that the whole thing– from walking in the door to walking out– took only 20 minutes! This was with conversation! So I’m also happy with the fact that she was able to make the painful part go very quick.
I will absolutely be a return customer, Groupon or not!

I used a Groupon to try out this new place and get a brazillian wax so the price was definitely right. The building is right on Orchard Lake, not hard to find at all, and the suite is on the first level. The building is going through some mantenance and remodeling but that doesn’t have anything to do with the inside of the suite Aloria is in. It is actually nice and clean and seems sterile in there, which I appreciate since I’m taking my clothes off.
This is the first place that I’ve been to for a brazilan where they provide you paper panties for modesty. Because I’m there for a brazilian wax I already have no shame so that isn’t necessary for me but my nice for some.
The esthetician is REALLY nice. I liked her a lot. She was really personable and nice.
The place was clean, the esthetician was really nice, I will definitely return as I did today (¹⁰⁄₃₀). I really appreciated the way Yvonne explained to me the process of sanitation they use. I’ve updated my previous review because I know now that there isn’t any double dipping going on, I just so happened to be at the end of a wax container that was thrown away. I trust Aloria skin spa and have already made my appointment to go back! They definitely have a repeat customer.
