The expensive surgery was a FAILURE after less than 3 weeks of my dog’s surgery. I asked Dr. Landers how to keep the blood clot from re-​occurring. I was appalled when he said the only way to keep it from coming back was to CUT my dog’s ear off. How rude!
I had so much issue with this clinic that they refused to honor the remaining July month that I had paid in full for the wellness plan. They deducted my money from my bank and refused service! Basically, STOLE my money! Run FAR away from these thieves!!! Absolute nightmare!

The staff here is great with our puppy and mini pig. They treat animals like family. And are very helpful to new pet owners.

We have a potbelly pig. It is very difficult to find a vet, any vet, that will see a potbelly. It is especially difficult to find one that is as knowledgeable and kind as Dr. Landers. We moved and went to a different vet this past year for her annual visit and hoof care. We did not have a good experience. We will definitely be returning to Valley View Pet Center for her next annual visit and boarding needs. We have boarded here several times and had many visits those first couple years and we never had an issue with the staff. Maybe it has changed since we were there. They do get very busy but I never felt it got it the way of their professional and care.

there is only one receptionist which makes no sense at all because this place can get busy. i was waiting in a line because they can’t hire two receptionist. Iv also noticed that the receptionist has to clean the place, answer the phone and attend to the customers. That’s too much work for one person to do. My dog needed surgery and this place is kind of expensive. when i went to pay the receptionist had to get the manager because she didn’t have the key to access my credit card on the pc. they should just do away with that because it takes longer to pay. it seems that old lady with the pony tail always has a bad attitude and gets mad over things that are not a big deal. overall it’s justing staffing issues but you should still check this place out.

Really great clinic for guinea pigs. Dr. Landers really knew his stuff about guinea pigs which is really hard to find! The staff was very nice and the exam was thorough. Also their price on xrays was fantastic. I called around several places getting prices and they were up to a $ 100 cheaper then some places! I’ll be taking my guinea pigs here from now on. Definitely recommend for exotics.

I recently brought my puppy in to be spayed and she received the best care! Every time we visit, we have such a great experience. The staff is always so friendly and they are so great with my furry and feathered family members, and I love that! I opted to leave my puppy at the clinic overnight after her surgery to eliminate stress since we have another dog at home, and as much as wanted to bring her home, I knew she was in great hands!!! I am so happy to have found such a dependable and caring vet in the area!

Do NOT bring your pets here. These people are only after the money you spend and do not care about your animal’s well being. I’d read some bad reviews but never had any problems here myself until I brought in my adult cat who was having terrible problems with her tummy and a skin issue. After testing a stool sample they said she had no parasites and gave me a long list of pricey medication options, offering a «gold standard» and backup options. After coming to an agreement, I was sent home with some anti-​diarrheal medicine, very pricey canned cat food and a shrug. «This should help.» A week later and no improvement. When I called back to ask if they think it might be a grain allergy the woman who answered the phone tersely responded with, «Oh I couldn’t say. I don’t know.» Comforting. I got more help from a Petco employee (who suggested grain free food) than from my vet’s office. Upon calling a third time, I asked them to check her file to see if they’d tested her for any type of bacterial infection. When the woman came back on the phone she said that my file indicated I’d denied any kind of treatment. How dare they. On top of everything else I bought that day, they charged me $ 20 for generic lamisil for the skin issue. After I purchased it, they told me, «If you run out, just get more at walmart…» Well, thanks for spiking the price 4x in your office. My cat is still experiencing minor tummy issues, but due to their greed and incompetence, I will be looking for vet care from another vet’s office.

These people are great. Dexter likes them and that is as good as it gets for me.

Wow! So very pleased. I had an older cat that needed to be put to sleep. Dr. Landers came to my house and was so kind and empathetic. I was so happy to have that service so that my beloved cat of 16 years did not have to get stressed in a car and could go peacefully at home.
Her sister got an abscess in her mouth shortly afterward and I took her here. Again, very great care.
Dr. Landers also mentioned to me that he does house calls for annual shots, anyone who is unable to «herd» their animals together or has transportation /​disability issues that make getting to the clinic problematic. What a great customer service solution!

The staff here really care about pets. Took my puppy in to get spayed and hernia repair. Front desk staff was very nice scheduling over the phone and greeting me at the door. I received a call once my puppy was in the recovery room to let me know she was okay. I picked her up the same day and was given detailed information from Dr Deb Carboni. I can’t say enough good things about her and the staff at VVPHC. Thank you for taking such good care of Beni.

Valley View Pet Hospital is a wonderful place to entrust the care of your pets. I have been a client there for well over a decade. I only have «typical» pets – dogs and cats. However, I’ve seen pigs, hamsters, honey gliders and many more come through the doors with their owners.
Dr. Landers and his entire staff are friendly and attentive, always remembering me and my pets.
On my most recent visit I took 3 of my pets in for their annual exams and vaccinations. Which was a delightful experience. We were in and out of there in an efficient time frame. And each received a thorough examination.
I just can’t say enough good things about VVPHC. From the warm greeting you receive at the front desk to the exceptional service of the highly trained staff, you will not be disappointed.

Every time I came here, I had to deal with Deborah Cabroni. The experience I had was horrendous.
My dog had an itching problem. He would itch his ears, mouth, and sometimes, when it got worse he bit his skin till’ it bled. So I came here to see what’s it about to get it fixed, thinking it was a cheaper alternative to vet clinics near my town.
Once you walk in, the place is a very old and shabby place. It has tiled, white floors, and fans on the ceilings, humming away. There are only two rooms for the appointments. When I walked in, I saw old, white ladies at the front desk, not bothering to say hello. I sat and waited. There was nobody is the rooms and the doctor was no where to be seen. I was met with Cabroni, who had a stale and uncaring personality.
She told me the usual. It could be allergies or a skin rash or environmental problems. It was extremely funny, because it was everything I researched online on the Web. Little did I know that every time I came here, she told me the same exact thing on the Internet, the same information I found too. She would opt to offering me a huge selection of medicines, shampoos, and antibiotics altogether cost way too much. Instead of finding a direct cure, she markets all possible things to cure whatever could cause the itching on my dog. It was all business. They did not one bit care about the health about my dog. Cheap and ridiculous.
I don’t think she even has a degree.
So I said, «I’m not buying any of it.» Cabroni only stared at me with an arm to her hip. Wow, talk about pressuring patients to buy things they don’t want to. (Fyi, Vet clinics are supposed to give you time and space to consider what must be done) She insisted, and I said «No». That got her angry and she just walked away.
One time, I asked for a ear drop for my other puppy who had a yeast infection. It never came. I called and was picked by the phone by a Hispanic named, Jennifer. She said «I never ordered it». Yea right. I tell her that «This place only markets products», but she talks over me how I’m wrong. No matter what I say or complain she does not even apologize and puts me on hold a dozen times (I suspect for unprofessional reasons). I ended up hanging up the phone to the brain-​washed and disrespectful girl.
I also ended up going to a nearby vet where I was met with the most supportive and skilled doctor ever. One thing leads to another.

This is a long time over due and I apologize for that. I asked Dr. Landers to come to my home to give my hounds check ups and shots — they hate the car and the vet office. My one boy is very skittish and Dr. Landers was amazing in handling him. They both got their shots and I got some very good advice. He’s a fantastic doctor and very resonably priced. I will 100% use him again. Thanks so much, Dr. Landers!

Although this is a review website, words simply cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for Dr. Landers, Dr. Carboni, and the entire staff at Valley View in Farmer’s Branch.
I have 2 kitties, one female (Indigo) who is predominantly seen by Dr. Landers on house calls (see Home Vet review) and my other little one is a male (Guse) who is seen on site at Valley View. In March of this year my male kitty suddenly lost use of both hind legs and Dr Landers recommended I take him to a specialist. Which I did, and it was determined that he had a large tumor on his spine that was compressing on his spinal cord causing the paralyzation of his hind legs. The prognosis was terminal. The overall treatment has been administering daily prednisone to assist with the swelling on his spine. While this was, and is not, an ideal diagnosis we are coping with it. The reason for the review is this:
I moved to Dallas, TX for my job, where I had no family or friends, when I learned of this diagnosis. Dr. Landers and Dr. Carboni, and their staff, went above and beyond any other veterinarian before. They treated me and my kitties like family and always found time to help us. Whether it was a house call to help me express Guse’s bladder or emergency visits for medication, X-​rays, etc., the staff at Valley View was always there for us. After hearing of Guse’s diagnosis from the specialist, both Dr. Landers and Dr. Carboni personally called me and assured me they were there for me and my kitties and anything we needed. The personal attention, care and support we received is truly the only thing that helped me get by.
I am pleased to say, that miraculously and thanks to the prednisone, Guse regained his ability to walk. I have now relocated for work again, to CA, and I was fearful that Guse wouldn’t survive the move. But he did! Most likely due to the amount of preparation that Dr. Landers and Dr. Carboni coached me on for the cross country drive. And while I have been looking for a new vet here in CA, Dr. Landers has still continued to provide me with whatever assistance and guidance he can via phone. While I know I am on borrowed time with my little Guse, I am incredibly thankful that I still have this time with him. And it is thanks to the outstanding service and support from Dr. Landers and Dr. Carboni and their entire staff at Valley View. If I could have brought them to CA with me I certainly would have.
You will never find better care for your pets than you will from Valley View Pet Health Center.

After using a different veterinarian for years and feeling like we were getting taken advantage of with every visit, we decided to switch to Valley View Pet Center. We couldn’t be happier with the entire clinic. We’ve been taking our two dogs there for 3 years now and have never felt like we were over-​charged or under-​treated. The staff is reasonable about needed lab work, not running unnecessary tests. Dr. Landers was even kind enough to let my girls look in his microscope at our dog’s cells at our last visit. Valley View Pet Center isn’t fancy, so go elsewhere if you are looking for granite countertops and hardwood floors. If compassion and reason are what you need, this place is perfect!

I discovered Valley View Vet on Unilocal after much searching all over the DFW. Their Sugar Glider neutering was the cheapest I found and my glider was back to normal the same day. He never knew he was fixed! I’ll continue to use their services.
In addition, the staff is extremely friendly and even remembers you and your pet which is a plus! Also, they’re always having deals that are great steals so keep an eye out.

I went to this vet because they had a groupon deal. The receptionist was really nice and everyone was really friendly to my dog. However, I had a few questions about things and the veterinarian was pretty condescending when I asked questions. I didn’t think they were as concerned with my needs as they were concerned with having me spend more money. I think since I was using a groupon they treated me differently than a regular client.
I will not be returning to this vet office.

Dr. Landers consistently provides excellent patient care, quality client education and a warm smiling face! His surgical skills are exemplary and his commitment to providing pets with supreme quality of life is unparalleled. I can always count on him to help with my fur-​babies and to know the latest studies and recommendations– combined with his wealth of clinical experience. I also feel good supporting a vet who does so much for the animal population around the world– his volunteer commitment with World Vets, working with feral cat spay/​neuter organizations, etc. It’s rare to find a vet who lives out their love of animals like Dr. Landers and his staff at Valley View!

The staff is great and I’m always in and out in a flash!

I saw this dog boarding place on groupon and called in to ask about them. They were very helpful, they made separating from my puppy for a week a little easier because they were friendly and experts.
You’re able to bring your own food for your dog, and their toys. My dog is very spoiled but when I came back, he seems more obedient. There are lots of other dogs there so I wasn’t afraid my puppy would be lonely.
If I ever go on another vacation, I’m coming here for sure.
