Lone Star Wash & Dry

First time at this location. One of the first things I noticed was a dog inside the building setting in one of the clothes baskets. They have a sign on the door NO DOGS. They had no attentent on duty. Someone ate a burger King and just left their trash on a seat. Guess another business owners do not care about.

This place is HORRIBLE. They flat out LIE to you if you call in advance inquiring about the cost of the machines. We were advised that during the weekdays, double loaders are $ 1 for cold water and $ 1.50 for hot water. LIE. We went during the week and it cost $ 1.75 to wash in hot water, and there is never a $ 1 option. Also, we asked about drying times and costs. We were told it was 25 cents for every 12 minutes — it’s 25 cents for every 8 minutes. The worker on duty did not speak English — we’re in AMERICA, English is the PRIMARY language!!! It was embarrassing and uncomfortable having her ask people around the laundromat if they could understand English. There were countless children running around screaming and «playing» with the machines. Neither the parents nor staff did anything to stop the madness. Chairs to sit in and wait on your laundry were dirty with melted and sticky candy all over them. I don’t think any of the TVs played anything in English, so that wasn’t of much help. Just a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience!

Love this place. I drop off my laundry every other week and within hours it is folded, hung and neatly put into bags.
Oh yeah and smells amazing.

First of all, thank you for providing an amazing laundry (wash and fold) service. Second, I accidentally left some money in my jeans pocket and they found it, washed my jeans, and left it on the side to give it back to me. Every single dollar of it. Third, I know some of the workers there don’t speak English that well and despite my broken Spanish, they go out of their way to make sure that my needs are met.
Anyone too lazy to do your own laundry or in town and need someone to do your laundry, I highly (I mean highly) recommend this place.

Best place to wash and dry. Always very clean they have the supplies in case you’re missing something, gets crowded on the weekends but what laundromat doesn’t?
All the machines are always on check and running, it’s my go to place when I need to get laundry done.

It’s in a bit of a sketchy neighborhood but it’s without a doubt the nicest friendliest wash and fold or laundry mat I’ve ever visited. They take in laundry from early morning till late night. I usually can pick it back up in a few hours. Good work and very reasonable.
You can tell that the owner and his staff take great pride in their establishment. It’s very clean and has nice little extras like wifi.
It’s such a pleasant experience to deal with them that I pass right past the place next door to my apartment and drive 6 miles to them.
If you live in the Carrollton, Farmers Branch area and don’t have your own washer dryer this is your savior. Heck I don’t want to ever do my own Laundry again. It’s almost as good as coming home from college and having dear old mom lovingly wash fold and neatly stack your clothes.

This place is awesome! I was looking for a place to wash my king sized zip off mattress top to my sleep number bed. I called the owner and he told me he had a machine with the capacity to handle it it with no problem. I rushed over from Plano and was pleasantly surprised to find the cleanest laundromat I have ever seen. The place was spotless, the equipment was fantastic and my mattress cover came out fresh and clean, like new. I am going to bring all of my comforters, pillows and blankets here to get them super clean. Fantastic place!

I’d been traveling between continents for over a week and had a suitcase full of dirty clothes in desperate need of cleaning. Not having clue where to look for a wash-​n-​fold service on a Sunday, I found Lone Star after several Google searches. The man who answered the phone (who I presumed to be the owner or manager) was extremely polite and explained that the full laundry service is offered 7 days a week. The shop is easy to find and is located in a quaint Hispanic area of Farmers Branch. I’m not sure exactly how many pounds of laundry I brought there, but I could barely close my overflowing bag. The warm and courteous lavandera charged me only $ 16 (what I thought to be an extremely fair price) and told me to come back in a few hours time. I returned promptly as she’d instructed to find all of my clothes neatly folded and wrapped up in plastic like a big present. :) I was totally satisfied with my experience here — you just can’t beat good, fast, and cheap all at once! I will definitely return should the need arise in the future.

They play spanish shows on the t.v. and internet radio over the speakers. The music is a mix — really a mix. Spanish, English, mambo, techno, pop, country, indie, rock en espanol.. Awesome!
Dont let the location throw you, its a well maintained facility.
As in any neighborhood washerteria, keep your car locked and don’t leave your clothes.

Decent place to get your laundry on. 25 cents for the dryer.

My washing machine broke and the new part will not be in for a week — so I needed a laundromat. I stopped at one in Dallas, and did not feel comfortable. I searched and saw this one had good reviews.
I agree – Clean, plenty of washers (with variable capacities) and dryers, nice people, and fine area. This will be the place I go when I need to wash bulky items or need laundromat again.
Also, there is an attendant and you can drop off and pick up bundles.
There was also a change machine.
I went middle of the afternoon and the area was fine (in reference to others that called it sketchy).

Free WiFi! Tons of washers and dryers. Music and TVs. Video games and snack machines.
We went one late night when most of the stores in the strip were closed. This felt like a sketchy kind of area and I wouldn’t come here alone. It was a little hard to find an ATM to get the cash for the quarters. It’s a little basic but it is a laundry mat. They have huge washers and dryers for comforters. And there was an employee or two constantly cleaning the place.
There was a (FB) wall of shame full of pet peeve photos and clothes thieves so if you do do you laundry here, make sure to keep an eye on it!

Very clean environment. Brand new machines with multiple load capacities!
