Lincoln Waters Edge

Never had more stuff stolen in my life. All of my bras, all brand new, 8 of them from Victoria’s Secret went missing after maintenance came. I am a 23 yr old female living on my own. I was afraid and felt violated, I had no bra to wear to school for a week. It was humiliating. I reported this to the office and they did absolutely nothing about it. Didnt even contact the maintenance company they hire out to let them know this stuff was happening. The packages delivered to my door never make it to my arms. My neighbor has had things stolen from his car in the parking lot. A very deceiving apartment as you pay too much for it, its in the middle of no where, and is gated.
Im moving out of here as soon as my lease it up. I do not feel safe here.

Sadly, that is exactly how I feel at the Lincoln Waters Edge Apts. This complex is fairly new, and looks great from the outside, however when you move in, you will soon find that there is a big problem. The complex is full of spiders. Now let me make sure you understand, I mean huge spiders, which are everywhere, on the stairs, railings, and even on the balcony, making it impossible for me to be outside. I am pretty embarrassed to invite over any family or friends because they would find my place disgusting. So fair warning, if you like being surrounded by creepy crawly bugs, and enormous spiders, then this is the perfect place for you to call home. I on the other hand, am counting down until the end of my lease term, so I can move out. Now, I’m sure you’re thinking, why don’t I just call and report this to the office staff, right? After numerous attempts, I have given up, as they are unwilling to call out pest control to handle the issue. I believe in the tenet handbook it mentions the fact that the renter must provide a clean living environment, which this place fails to offer, and I will be pursuing other actions. However in the mean time, I wanted to share my review to really inform possible renters of this massive problem. Also, like I said mentioned earlier, unless you enjoy being surrounded by large spiders, roaches, wasps, I advice you not rent here.

The spiders aren’t so itsy bitsy at Lincoln Waters Edge. I am terrified to go home everyday and walk through the hallway of horror. Some nights I even lose my courage and stay at my parents place. I am embarrassed to invite friends over and when I do, I have to warn them to keep their head down, mouth closed, and hands off the railings. I’ve actually had a couple of friends come and run back to their car and leave! When you walk, all sorts of bugs jump on your feet, fall on your head, and fly into your mouth. I prefer to eat my bugs cooked; not raw and alive. And don’t even think about coming home drunk and holding the railings for support as they are covered in spiders and webs in every crevice. As if the nightmare of coming home isn’t bad enough, I have actual nightmares just about every night as I dose off starring at the giant spiders all over my bedroom window. I’m going to have to rearrange my furniture and move my bed in front of the window so I can avoid watching the spiders before going to sleep. When signing a lease, I was told that pest control comes once a week. There is no way that actually happens. I had to put in a maintenance request to actually get pest control to come. I also asked them to clean my balcony as it is covered in spiders. This is an understatement as you will see in the pictures I took. I received a letter back from the office saying they will spray, but I have to clean/​remove the spiders myself. REALLY?! This place is unlivable and you’re going to tell me to clean this s*** myself?! Let me first go buy a hazmat suit and a ladder that will reach the 3^rd floor. I would love to attempt this, fall off the ladder when the spiders start climbing all over me, and then sue Lincoln Waters Edge. If you prefer to be in fear when going home, want to eat, sleep, and breathe spiders, and enjoy discovering a new insect species everyday, Lincoln Waters Edge is the perfect home for you!

Loved the new apartment community! Very elegant interior! Loved the fact they had a dog park and a walking trail behind the apartment! The staff when we first moved in was great! Professional, polite, responsible, and always on top of things! Then staff changed and now, not so much. Not as bad as I’ve dealt with before but not as sharp as the first group of staff. Now they seem too relaxed… To be at work. I don’t know but if someone calls, asking a question regarding their account, I would think you would need my account info to pull up information regarding my account but the lady I spoke with that day told me to wait a few more days. I call back after my suggested amount of days and left messages on their voicemail twice. Never got a call back. I had to go there personally to get an answer. I don’t know, that to me doesn’t seem too attractive.
Very nice apartment complex though! No complaints about the apartment in general!

Love Waters Edge! Love the lake, love the trail, love the dog parks. Perfect environment for active lifestyle. Great staff, beautiful property, beautiful townhome apartment. Best in Las Colinas.

I was short term lease, but it was great community. Interior is modern and clean, I like new apartment.

My family and I have lived here for almost a year. We love the location along the lake. We also enjoy the BBQ by the pool with amazing views.

My boyfriend and I were in the neighborhood and in need to find an available apartment with limited time. We stopped in and spoke with Shelby at Lincoln Waters Edge. They unfortunately didn’t have any availability but her professionalism and kindness lead us to Lincoln Las Colinas, there «sister apartment».
We are grateful Shelby still took time with us to tell us about the area of Las Colinas & to still helped us even if we weren’t going to end up living at Lincoln Waters Edge. However, the floor plans that this apartment complex offers are fabulous and of course the sweet hospitality made us sad we couldn’t chose them!

Thin walls, you can hear everything your neighbors are doing and saying. Bug issues. Grass is often soaked and residents dont care about property. Luxury apartments? I guess that word must mean something different to everyone.

My wife and I have lived in these apartment for 6 months and absolutely love it! The apartment staff and ground keepers do a beautiful job keeping the apartment running smoothly and have a great clean apartment complex.
The dog parks are always a fun place to bring your dog after work. All the other residents that I have met that live here are very friendly and feels welcoming

Have lived here since April 2014. Mostly a good complex. They’re prompt with repairs and the dog park is a great benefit. However, the dog park needs trees, and the complex needs another gate to go down to the lake/​river; the only one is way down at the far end of the property.
I can hear my neighbors through the walls and ceilings, which I wasn’t expecting for a newly built, high-​end complex.
Buy a plunger – the black plastic kind; the toilets clog all the time.
Don’t get a unit near the pool/​clubhouse. I had a package stolen off my porch. Lots of noisy kids and people at the pool all weekend from 10 am to 9 pm in the summer. I’ve had to go out to the pool after 11 pm on a Thursday night and ask people to take their squealing kids home.
NOTE: this is a dog-​friendly complex. If you are afraid of dogs, don’t move here!
Last summer at 8:30 am on July 4, a worker started installing a railing on my first floor patio – lots of loud drilling and hammering are not acceptable on a national holiday!
