I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt because it is Father’s Day, but I don’t think I can. We waited for over 30 min to be seated in the middle of the afternoon. I party of 6 who had been waiting before we arrived left(no telling how long they waited) and we finally left shortly after. What makes matters more frustrating is that the hostess sat a single person, who arrived after everyone else waiting, on a 4 top with another empty 4 top next to it. The logical thing would have been to combine the 2 tables and sit a large party that was waiting. Hate that this was my first experience with this place as I am reluctant to ever return. They probably lost over 10 customers from the people leaving because of the lack of communication.

I’m going to be nice this Sunday morning. I ordered the pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Pancakes were cold and tasteless, eggs were rubbery, and the bacon was thin. I will not be ordering breakfast from here ever again. I will give them another try for lunch because I love Mexican food.

I must say I was impressed with the service here. It was our 1st time and it was a group of 25! Our server was attentive and prompt with everything we would order. The food was authentic and the price point is right in line. We are definitely returning.

Came here bc it was highly publicized on Univision 23 so I came, I am pregnant taste buds are diff but look at what they have us, I mean idk tbh server wasn’t too attentive, we got salsas in little plastic cups & received only 3 tortillas for a big plate of milanesa. It’s just so not worth the hype honestly but if you’d like to try it I guess just we will not be coming back

Really not a fan of this place. I ordered the chicken tacos and they were extremely greasy. Will not be returning!

Delicious Mexican food! I have been twice for dinner and had the chile con carne and loved it. This small chain was started in Las Cruces, NM and is a great taste of home for this New Mexican. However, both times we have gone around 6 – 7 in the evening and have been the only people in the building. The atmosphere is lacking. What looks to be a fully functioning bar space serves as a station for the servers. I’m assuming it has to do with a lack of liquor license. The location is convenient for me but lacks curb appeal. BUT, the food has been great both times. I love the soup that comes with the entrees. Please go try Delicias café and keep this taste of home open for me!

Had the caldo and tostadas. Everything was delicious! I got a little sample of the flan with caramel sauce. Was one of the best examples of flan I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

Ok tried the place because of the name… And true to the name the food is delicious. We tried the chile verde, the menudo and the tres leches all were very authentic and yummy. Also kudos to the wait staff they are super friendly, my new go to place for Mexican food

We start lunch with Chili Con Quezo. The cheese used is similar to mozzarella that when cooked becomes«stretchy» and the oil separated from it. Tastes good and filling. We followed that up by splitting a «Combo #4» — two flautas, one taco, and one gordita. Nothing stood out during this visit. We’ll see what else they have in our next visit. The staff were friendly and checked in us often. As for the pricing of the menu items, I found them to be a little pricey for lunch items

I’m just going to start off saying I was exited to hear about a New Mexican restaurant. Chips where stale. Salsa had no flavor. Frijoles charros where cold like they just came out of the microwave. To top it off. I ordered the delicias alado which tasted like it was drenched in cold sweet katchup sauce. No tortillas made it worse. When I tried to switch my place for something typical like fajitas tacos they said it would be fine but they will still charge me the plate I did not touch plus the tacos. Overall I will notbecoming back again.

We ordered takeout for dinner — steak tacos. It was huge! I’ll definitely do takeout again :) Since takeout was so yummy we came back for breakfast. This place is a lot bigger inside than it appears. We were the only non Hispanics — that’s a good sign that it’s authentic right? My husband ordered some kind of soup. It started with a P? Size small it was filling and the bread was so good! I got plain Jane eggs with tortilla /rice and beans. It all came out to under $ 25 with two cups of coffee too! It’s new so service was a tiny bit slower than I like but it’s all good — cute waitresses and very nice. I’m sure they are working through it and it’ll only get better :) Ps– their salsa is spicy and we love it!

First timer here and the first thing that caught my attention was how CLEAN this place is!!! To me that’s very important… Our waitress was super nice! Although she is new and I loved how she even mentioned that to is, her service was great. The food… Very very very good!!! It was delicious and very proportioned. I had the Delicias chilaquiles with sirloin and they were great. Give this place out a chance, trust me you won’t regret it! :) I’m definitely coming back for dinner menu.

Edited Review– this is real authentic Mexican food. I had the combo #3. Only complaint is the chili colorado could be a little spicer but has great flavor! Giving 4 stars because this was my 3rd visit and finally they were open. Seems they close around 7pm, still no hours posted on the door. ____________________________________________________ Stopped by at 7:45pm last night and they were closed. There were no hours posted on door. I will update review when I go back. They did have a nice breakfast special posted outside– 2 eggs, 2 bacon, and 2 pancakes for $ 2.99

This is great Mexican food! We tried a combo with flautas, taco and gordita, it was all great! The flautas could use a dipping sauce or guacamole. Also had a chili rellanos burrito with green chili, it was great also. The chips and salsa is good, salsa is spicy! 5 stars is based in the food, cleanliness of the restaurant and service. This restaurant is still a work in process, no liquor license until January 2016. There is not much décor, they do have highchairs and car seat slings. They do not have a kids menu but you can order off the al a carte menu for the kiddos. They seem to have spent money in the correct places. The service was great! We will be back!

Amazing! With food this good and AUTHENTIC who needs décor or bar service! I have been looking for authentic Mexican since I moved to Dallas 14 years ago! I am so thrilled to they opened and the best part is they are located in my neighborhood! If your into Tex-Mex(gross) this is NOT the place for you!

I’ve been looking for a mexican restaurant that reminds me of El Paso style mexican food and I finally found one. Try the deshebrada a la mexicana!

I think Delicias has potential they’re just experiencing the new restaurant growing pains. My food was good but it wasn’t the combo I ordered. When I got it and said this isn’t what«Combo 2» said the waitress told me it was. I liked what I had except for the chicken enchilada(which was supposed to be cheese) that didn’t really have much flavor. They don’t have any TVs or decorations on the walls but it’s looks like they’re coming. I plan to give it a few months then try again!

Since they are new, you can tell they are experiencing some growing pains. But that didn’t detract from the food. Combo #4 with tacos, flautas, rice & beans and soup. Good deal for $ 10.95. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. No bar service yet, but it looks like it’s coming.
