I used to like it occasionally every few months for dirt cheap greasy food where the«tasteless» taste grows on you. I had eaten at this location since being a kid. The last time I ate here about 4 years ago it gave both me and my wife the worst case of food poisoning we have ever had in our lives. This was the only place we had eaten that day, and sure enough a few hours later right after midnight, sick as dogs. Luckily we had two bathrooms, we were helpless and almost thought we should go to the hospital, and I’ve had bad food poisoning from places I wouldn’t expect like a nice seafood restaurant in the San Francisco wharf from swordfish. This was on another level for both of us. We will never be able to look or step foot in this place again. Looking back I should have known better.

Look, there’s nothing shocking about this place. It’s called Chicken and Rice. Gee, wonder what they sell here? Answer: chicken. Also rice. The rice has no flavor, and the egg roll was an expensive and unimpressive addition. Still, the chicken(greasy and battered, kinda like Long John Silver’s?) is holy wow cheap– on special, I got 5 pieces of chicken and a side of rice for $ 3.69 or something. The building is kinda dirty, but let’s be real, buddy: you’re not dining in. Take your shame to go.

Well for starters… its not a Chinese place(although it shows on the search as Chinese/Asian fusion). As their name suggests, chicken and rice is their signature dish(Although they do serve noodles too… just because). The food is okay. Its not a fantastic gourmet meal, but its cheap and sumptuous. Its probably good for maybe a quick lunch or take out. I’d probably go there again to get their wings and tenders if I’m having people over. So bottom line… cheap food. better than panda… good for takeout.

This is the devil’s food, because its everything your doctor tells you not to eat and your belly hates you for!!! On the other hand, who doesn’t love chicken and rice? and Who can mess that up? Unless you do something totally off I am a fan regardless of this joint and I think price is definitely appropriate for the portion, however, the sauce charges and extra charges for silly things that are not really on the menu. The other main con about these establishments is location and also the inside dining. You might as well eat in your car because there is no inside dining available and the location of these joints are GHETTOO lol. Sometimes its easier and safer to hit up a whataburger but if your strolling down or trolling than hit it up and grab a combo!

Usually a good lunch spot to grab some quick delicious chicken fingers. Their fresh and hot and you can’t possibly beat the price. Best bang for your buck!

Good Cheap Food, Although not the healthiest, their food is good and they give you good portions for the price. Also look out for the specials they have as well. I love their shrimp fried rice and their chicken fingers. Just be warned I gave it one star off because of the size of the chicken. It is abnormally huge!

Cheap and fast. You can feed 4 people for about $ 11. The chicken is all white meat. It’s similar to sweet and sour chicken but the size and shape of long john silvers. The fried rice is super basic but its just for filler here. The dipping sauces are pretty good. Sweet and sour, sweet and spicy(my fav), and spicy(Buffalo). The food is a little on the greasy side but it’s DEEPFRIED chicken and FRIED rice so it’s kind of a given.

Great prices, extraordinarily greasy chicken. its a no frills experience that would normally thrive in, but the bottom line is the chicken was way too greasy. I dont know how they super saturate the chicken batter where it remains in place, yet weighs down 50% to 75% of the enitre chicken wing or tender. The flavor is only enhanced with the sauces, hot and normal. in dipping the chicken in the sauces, i notice that the embedded oil slick created a natural adversion to the sauces as the greasy has taken over every pocket of space in the batter In order to get enough sauce on teh piece of chicken, one would need to bite a part of the batter off and then pour the sauce over the affected area like trying ot plaster a piece of ice. In the end, this place is about your preferances. What i give is my experience and shouldnot stop you from trying this dive out. Untill my next foodventure, God speed!

been a favorite of mine for over 15years! they call themselves chinese fast food, but their specialties are really just chicken strips/fingers and wings. the fingers are more tempura style than breaded style. always hot, fresh and fast!

The chicken is battered and the fried rice is probably the blandest I’ve had. If you order wings they are heavily battered and not friendly to eat. The egg rolls were a struggle as well. If I were to come back it would be for the chicken strips alone, they were good but not with the sauces from here… Just with the sauces from my fridge. This place is ultra affordable and you get what you pay for.

I love this place! The chicken batter kind of reminds me of long John silver, just a thousand times better. The price for these meals is so cheap. Especially on Wednesday when you can get a pieces of chicken and rice for 4.99, like who has prices like that. Nobody but them. **Warning**You might get the«itis» after this. Lol

This is what they mean when you hear«hole in the wall». The chicken is always perfectly golden and crispy. It’s pretty basic on flavor but if you like sweet n sour chicken on the cheap, this is an excellent spot. It’s not the healthiest choice you could make but you won’t be hungry in an hour either. It’s very heavy and greasy. They have great daily specials. Only a handful of tiny tables. No decorations. Plain and simple. No muss no fuss. You don’t go for the ambiance.

Super crunchy chicken wings or chicken fingers served with fried rice and eggroll. YUMM! Portions are large and the price is low. Perfect combo! The spicy sweet sauce is the way to go!

Seeing a couple of these places around the city and figured I give this place a try for lunch. Got the #1 combo: 4 chicken fingers, fried rice, egg roll, and a drink. Chicken fingers were greasy and lacked any real flavor besides batter and grease. Fried rice was bland as well. Egg roll tasted like what you would get at any other chinese restaurant. Coke was delicious. Maybe the wings are better and I might give that a try next time. For chicken fingers, I would get some from Raising Canes, but there weren’t any nearby.

If you want a artery clogging super cheap lunch well this is the place. The chicken is sooo good. It’s perfectly crispy. They have daily lunch specials and sometimes you can get eight pieces of chicken tenders with fried rice and an egg roll for $ 3.50. When you need good hangover food this place is especially nice ;)

If you want a HUGE pile of super fresh crispy chicken tenders with myriad sauces(cost extra!), this is the place to go. I think you can get like twenty tenders for ten bucks or something ridic. Also, they have fried rice(whatever) and other things on the menu. I don’t know what those other things are but I have seen them in my periphery while deciding how many dozen tenders I need at that moment. The tenders remind me of the ones at Chili’s– lots of breading, hot white meat.(The name of a movie I saw your mom in, coincidentally.) It’s not healthy and it’s not haute cuisine, but it’s tasty and filling and satisfies that hole left in my cholesterol labs by my cardiologist.
