As a huge sushi fan, I was excited to see a sushi resturant in such a small town with such great reviews. I’m guessing that the high rating comes from a lack of experience eating high quality sushi. It was not extremely fresh and had small portions of fish in the rolls at a slightly inflated price. Mediocre at best.

Excellent sushi. The fish were fresh and tasty. My husband had the fried rice, and although I’m not usually a fried rice person, I liked it, too!
We had great service even though a BIG group came in before us. Our waitress was really nice and filled our tea often.
We’ve found a place we will be visiting regularly!

One of my favorite places to eat in town. I’m not very adventurous when it comes to raw food, so I steer clear of the sushi, but the other food I have tired here is wonderful. I would say it is the best Asian cuisine in the area, hands down. The service is always great. Staff is friendly. We frequently order take-​out and it’s usually ready very quickly.

The best sushi I’ve ever had. We were passing through town, and used Unilocal to find sushi. I’m so glad we did. Now we will drive there just for the sushi!

Had the mizuki fusion roll, it was very good. If I could, I would change out the sauce for a honey wasabi and the sea weed wraps are a little thick for my preference but none the less still very good. I also tried the spicy tuna roll from the less expensive side and they do not disappoint.

Food is absolutely wonderful, Tempuras, Hibachi, Sushi, a very nice additioon to Faribault. Our relatives from Fox Island, Washington very much enjoyed it and sampled several dishes. The only thing I never tried before was Saki (alcohol) which I did not care for, just not my taste. Some of the Japanese beers were very good, and we sampled a plum wine, a little sweeter than my taste, but not bad. They have a dipping sauce, cannot remember the Japanese name, but just ask for the «yum-​yum sauce». A smaller place, but very attentive waitress.
