Specialties
Mezzaluna is a casual fine dining establishment cleverly hidden off Broadway in Downtown Fargo just behind the Historic Fargo Theatre.
We boast a friendly neighborhood atmosphere featuring artisan food & drink. Executive Chef Eric Watson uses fresh locally sourced products whenever possible to create an eclectic menu based on traditional American fare. From our House-Ground Burger in the bar to Grilled Duck Breast & Leg Confit in the dining room, we have something for everyone.
History
Established in 2012.
Mezzaluna is located in the historic Lofts on Roberts Street Building.
The Lofts on Roberts was built in 1917 as the Smith, Follett & Crowl office and warehouse. Kilbourne Group worked diligently to preserve and maintain the integrity of many of the building’s historical features, including a pressed metal ceiling, large windows, corbelled brick, simplistic stone trim, an oak-encased office, exposed wood joists and beams, wood flooring and masonry exterior walls. Perfect atmosphere for the Classic Artisan Food & Drink of Mezzaluna. Imagine sipping on a Gin Fizz or a classic Sidecar and enjoying the Parma Prosciutto Wrapped Shrimp or maybe it’s something a little sweet like the Bourbon Pecan Pie.
Mezzaluna is also the home of Mosaic Catering & Events which was established in 2004. The upscale catering service specializes in corporate events and weddings. www.mosaicfoods.net for more info.
Meet the Business Owner
Eric W.
Business Owner
Executive Chef Eric Watson’s passion for all things culinary originated in a small Colorado town where he grew up. Small game hunting and trout fishing helped guide Eric to a style of cooking based on whole, fresh ingredients. Eric believes food should be prepared with quality ingredients and classic technique combined with a simplistic approach.
Eric pursued formal culinary training immediately following high school graduation. During his time as a culinary apprentice, Eric traveled throughout the United States with a culinary team, taking part in multiple cooking competitions.
After working in various fine dining establishments in Hawaii, Rhode Island, Arizona and Colorado, Eric now calls Fargo ND his home with his wife/business partner and four kids.
