Chicken Taco Salad is amazing, nacho cheese sauce could use an upgrade though!

Most menu items are either a sandwich or burger of some sort. That being said, there isn’t a bad one on the menu. All are fantastic. It would’ve gotten 5 stars if there was just a little bit more on the menu other than the burgers and sandwiches. There are some meal worthy apps, salads and a few entrées, but more would’ve been nice.

Great atmosphere and good food. This place was packed for a weekday night! I could see that this is popular with the locals. 3 stars — Complimentary popcorn. When first seated, a small bowl of popcorn is served. Not too buttery, but a little on the salty side. 3 stars — Penne pasta with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and a white cream sauce. It had a hint of spiciness to it that made it more interesting than just a basic white sauce pasta. There were a lot of onions in it though, that were cut larger than the size of the penne. That was a little much, but hey, it just made it easier for me to eat around. 3 stars — Caesar salad. This was a basic side salad. Nothing special here, nor should it be I guess, since it was supposed to be a typical salad to go along with my entrée. Overall, this was a fun place to go in Fargo. Atmosphere is better than the food. They’ve got a long bar in the center, with booth style tables along the four walls. It’s lively for a casual place to meet up for dinner.

I was visiting Fargo and this place was near my hotel and I decided to give it a try. I got the pizza rolls, which were really good. They were big enough that I probably could of had just those. I also got the jalapeño popper burger, it was good but I was a little disappointed in it. They don’t fully cook their burgers so the stuffing on the inside didn’t even get warm. For the regular burgers that doneness is probably fine but if you get a stuffed one ask for it to be all the way done. Even though I was getting my order to go. Service was really friendly and they even got me a water while I was waiting.

A happy hour favorite. Not cheap but not over priced either & certainly worth it! BLT bloody Mary’s on the weekend are a must!

I’ve been here twice. First time was summertime. Drinks on the patio was a great time. 2nd was for dinner with a friend. I had the philly cheesesteak. Phenomenal. Best one I’ve had in Fargo. If you know of a better one in Fargo, let me know!

Portions are bigger than my face and I have a huge fce. Have never had a soup there that I didn’t like. Very nice atmosphere in the cold months, feels warm and inviting.

So up in Fargo we went and had a blast. We ate here for dinner one night, and breakfast the next. Lets start with the dinner meal. Burger was fantastic. Went with the bison burger which comes with thick cut bacon and an awesome sweet/tangy bbq sauce. Everything about the burger worked. The sauce was sweet and helped with the saltyness from the patty and pig. Thick burger too, was actually worthy of being called a bison burger. She opted for a salad and turkey wild rice soup(no I didn’t share any of my burger with her). The wild rice soup was really good. Like, really good. The only reason we’re not in 5 star territory is the service was severely lacking once we got the food, especially when water and napkins were needed(I’m kind of a messy eater when it comes to a burger slathered in bbq sauce). Breakfast. Ok, I won’t tell a person to just up and go to Fargo. Trust me, I’m not that dumb nor would I wish that on someone. But, if you find yourself there and need to have some breakfast — come here. When you do, get their captain crunch french toast. I know, you’re like«that’s cereal and french toast?» Um no. It’s french toast that is dredged with captain crunch cereal. Sounds nuts eh? It is. It’s utterly insane, but, it’s utterly awesome too. Luckily, Ashley ordered this and I went with the caramel apple french toast — which was still really good — but, paled in comparison to that beast of a dish. It’s sweet, crunchy, soft, and just perfect. Service for breakfast was great. No complaints there. When I inevitably return to Fargo/Moorhead, I’ll be back to wreck this dish again!

I’ve been here on a few occasions. Up until this last time I had good experiences. This last visit was the worst experience I have had from a restaurant in quite awhile. The waitress was very rude, she kept walking by our table, we had to ask to refill our drinks, we had to ask to order. The food is good, but not worth it when you get treated like trash on the floor. We waited 10 minutes while the waitress gabbed at the front podium, while the other staff worked their butts off, and finally I had my husband go up and flag her down. She then insulted us by being snooty and saying we should of flagged her down. Well obviously we did do that and no we should not have had to do that. I wasn’t too impressed with the manager we talked to because she was one of the girls she was gabbing too at the front podium. I am not sure if I will go back now.

OK… it was actually probably a 3.5, but no extra credits in the rating process! It was«OK» but not more. Slightly lackluster but«ok» service. Food was«ok.» You get the point. It was crowded to the max on a Wednesday night — literally, I think we got the last table and it’s a pretty big place. The bar area was standing room and packed pretty tight. Lucky’s is located in sort of a hotel row area and although there are a lot of other options around, this apparently is a pretty popular place. Hubby had a HUGE salad — it was a monstrous plate(and he packed it all away!). They sort of build up their turkey sandwiches — thick cut turkey roasted onsite. I think what they actually do is have a pre-roasted chunk-o-turkey that they roast again and cut thickly. It was definitely a nice thick-cut of real turkey, but it didn’t have that freshly made turkey flavor — a slight processed taste that they cover by calling it «honey roasted turkey.» It was a missed opportunity. The ciabatta roll it was served on was good, but had they added some red onion and maybe some cranberry relish, it would have elevated the sandwich considerably. Although it was served with a dressing of some sort… and what I believe was supposed to be a turkey au jus, it just simply fell flat and on the low end of flavor. I do soooo love a good turkey sandwich and this one didn’t make the cut. With other nearby options, I probably wouldn’t try it again.

I’ve been to Lucky’s several different times and tried several different things off of their menu. Although my dining experienced has varied the service has always been good, The thing i do enjoy about this plays is the atmosphere, they always have good music playing and the staff has always been kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend going around lunch time and get the half sandwich and soup, great value and their prime rib french dip is exceptional.

Went here on a recommendation from our daughter. The food was great, philly cheesesteak, frickle crunch burger, and the chicken parmesan sandwich. Unique menu items and excellent service. We will go back again.

Nice atmosphere casual friendly restaurant with something for everyone! We played the pull-tab machine and got super lucky so kinda have that after-glow affect ;) The food is pretty typical chain food. I ordered a CA Turkey Wrap — decent but nothing omg — the loaded tater tots I did not find particularly good — 3 really greasy mushy large ‘tots’ stuffed with loads of extra calories(cheese, bacon) that didn’t make them taste any better — ha! All the employees were super friendly.

Not sure if I am reviewing the same place as other Unilocaler’s, as this place having almost a 5 Star rating and being described as a «Gastro Pub» surely don’t fit? Philly Cheesesteak sub, douched with cheezewhiz. Menu said it was prime rib, yea, maybe last week’s prime rib. It came with a side of onions rings… I counted 4. Yes 4 onion rings are considered an order here Service was ok, prices were fine. 2 stars.

Huge selection of burgers, but that’s not all, they have a lot more too. Ribs, chicken, fish. Great veggie burger and it’s even better if you add guacamole to it. We really love this place so we had our Groom’s Dinner there. They staff did awesome, considering we had 30 and they served the full menu. Try this place out and don’t forget about bingo!

We went here for dinner before a movie the other night and were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. We were totally in the mood for a burger and beer, and Lucky 13 hit the spot. They have a huge burger selection to chose from. My wife had the regular burger and fries… I had the mushroom and swiss with fries. Both were amazing! They were cooked as we had ordered them and the meat actually tasted like meat. No gristle or weird flavoring. Just good ol’ salt and pepper and beef! The fries were really tasty too. Very thin with a good mix of some crispy and some softer. It’s a bar/pub too, so the beer selection is nice as well. Good mix of tap beers to go along with what ever food you order. The other item that sounds delicious that’ll have to be ordered next time is the meatloaf sandwich! All I can say is, Oh my!

A good basic pub for lunch with wonderfully friendly service and generous portions of tasty food. The soup and sandwich special hit the spot. The wild rice turkey soup was tasty, but it could have doubled for a turkey pie filling! Very rich. The half Reuben was great. Tons of corned beef that oozed juices with every bite. I really enjoyed it but don’t know how someone could eat a whole one and still be able to walk out without some help Same can be said for the soup salad special. The salad portion was generous and the honey mustard dressing was excellent. A great lunch from the bowl of popcorn when we first sat down to licking the plate when my Reuben was finished.

Good food and nice interior/atmosphere. Packed on a Wednesday night at 8:15pm, that says a lot about its popularity. I’ll be back again when visiting Fargo. Would recommend.

Went with a huge party and I must give the staff props for getting the food out all at the same time. I got a stout, I don’t remember which, but it came in a nice, tall, cold mug. The fried pickles were pretty good. Nice thin slices, with a seasoned batter. I ordered a bacon burger, med well. And I agree with some other reviewers that the patty isn’t cooked to your liking. Mine was well, well done, to the point that the patty was was dry and fell apart while I was eating it. I tried the walleye tacos, and those were pretty good and fairly spicy. Their menu is huge, it’s hard to decide what to get. I would probably stay away from the burgers, unfortunately. They had other sandwiches on the menu, like a turkey sandwich covered in cheese whiz. But I would get walleye if I were to go again.
