Established in 1988.

Wavecrest Optical Shop began in 1988 in the Fleaport Indoor Flea Market. In 1991, the current location opened and has continue to operate under the same ownership/​management. Wavecrest Optical was founded on the principal that as healthcare professionals we are morally obligated to be honest business people.

That includes excellent customer care including expert frame service.

Barry is a lifelong Rockaway resident. Graduate of Far Rockaway High School, 1974. New York State Licensed Ophthalmic Dispenser.

Barry began working in the Optical Industry in 1986.
