History

Established in 1969.

Dr. William Dougherty started practicing dentistry since 1988. He continues working hard to deliver the most advanced dental treatments, with the traditional personal touch and strong emphasis on building lasting relationships. Our patients choose us because they trust that they are going to receive the best care possible, and they know that we will do whatever it takes to make sure that they have a wonderful dental experience.

Business Owner

Dr. Dougherty has been working in dentistry since 1988. He enjoys the art and science of his profession, and is always excited about sharing his knowledge and experience with his patients.

He received his undergraduate degree from Mount Saint Mary’s College and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Georgetown University Dental School.

Dr. Dougherty continues to take courses in continuing education, particularly in the areas of cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry. He believes there is always room for improvement, and working in a profession that is constantly changing.

Dr. Dougherty has maintained his memberships with the Northern Virginia Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, and the American College of Dentists. He served as president of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and in 2007, he was honored with Fellowship in the American College of Dentists.
