One Source Talent

What a joke. I applied for this back when I was young and stupid. I was a 16 year old actor in high school. My mom knew this was a scam so she didn’t let me go to the interview. Yeah I was mad. I am so thankful for it today. Now I am 20 years old. I still receive phone calls and emails from these people begging me to sign up for an interview. Note, these people have never even met me. Do not fall for this «talent agency» (scam).

We were really excited to get started with this company because our sister has a special talent. Not only do they email everyone for interviews, they also have a monthly fee of 40 dollars whether you use their services of not. After calling multiple times and leaving a a message about why i was calling. I didn’t receive any call back and they are still taking 40 dollars. Its a huge scam. They only want your money, they don’t care about about your talent.

These people are extremely unprofessional and aggressive. I had an appointment that I needed to cancel due to extenuating circumstances. Two weeks later they call me to ask if they can reschedule, the man says 2 dates that are not good for me. He gives me another 2 dates that were potential but I still needed to wait for my work schedule. Just as I was about to say that he said «YOU HAVE TO CHOSE ONE!!!» I said, «I’ll have to get back to you because I do not want to schedule an appointment that I may have to cancel.» He proceeded to say, «Well then I’ll just be deleting your application» and hung up the phone.
These people are rude and money-​hungry. PLEASE go somewhere else.

This company is a FRAUD do not use. $ 495 dollars upfront from EACH PERSON. They’re paid, they’re eating, they’re good! We the people are being used. No refunds and pay $ 40 a month to continue to use the site. So if I don’t get booked for gigs the company is still getting paid my $ 40 a month plus thousands of others how is this not a crime. How is this not being investigated. How is this not a scam? It’s sad I just want my $ 495 they’re laughing to the bank with.

As the previous reviews indicated, this place is a scam. A modeling agency shouldn’t take your money, they should help you make money. I might also add, building and offices are gross.

From the side that is looking for talent to cast, One Source Talent was really useful! Victoria was the agent who reached out to us after seeing our ad. She’s been in great communication with us so far and helped us get in contact with some young actresses in our area. We’ll see how it goes from here!

This place is a complete and utter joke! HUGE SCAM! Within a couple of days of applying a woman called me to set up an interview. I asked her if there were any upfront fees to pay in order to get established with One Source Talent as I had done my research and noticed lots of people complaining about $ 500 fees. She said no, there are no fees, which I later found out was a lie. I went to the first interview, looked around and realized they really seem to bring ANYONE in. After the first interview, they said they liked my look (which it seems they say to EVERYBODY) and asked me to come back the next day for the final interview. They specifically told me what to wear to the interview because they said they would be taking pictures of me to see how I photograph. However they never took any pictures. After waiting in the waiting room for about an hour they took me to the back asked me a few questions. The lady said I have a great look and congratulated me because OneSourceTalent was going offer me their contract upon payment of a $ 500 upfront non-​refundable fee as well as a $ 40 monthly payment. As soon as I realized the upfront fee was not a rumor I said I was not interested. The guy manager came in the room and then attempted to belittle me for coming back from the second interview if I wasn’t that interested. They also wouldn’t allow me to sleep on the decision. They wanted their money now or never! Do not give One Source Talent any of your business! They are LYING CON ARTISTS!

Story is, I wanted to act in a commercial, movie, etc because it was on my bucket list. So I applied to a few places online. I got a call the next day. Of course I felt special! I got invited to come in for an interview. Of course I felt more special! Once I was at the interview, there is a lady who comes in and explains the company and how long they’ve been around and what not. She tells people they are welcome to leave if they feel this is not them. Okay, I stayed seated. She then informs all who are waiting that they will conduct one on one interviews to see how they feel about you. If they like you, you will be invited back, if not you can ask why they didn’t want you.
I felt the fee was a little much for me wanting to involve myself in another hobby.
Opinion:
Try it for yourself. I spoke to a young lady who was there for the same reason. She said her friend referred her there because they used them before and became successful.
