McDonald’s

Never have I felt more discriminated in my life. As soon as I drove up to the intercom of the drive-​thru I could hear an appropriate sexual conversation between two coworkers. I politely said «excuse me I have children in the car» One of them replied and said «It’s 10pm maybe they should be asleep» well that was just one thing. I proceeded to order and the rude employee asked If I needed anything from the dollar menu because they were running out and I sounded poor. When I recieved my food a napkin had been placed on top of my food with a note reading «don’t ever come back» This was the most horrific and terrible experience.

We ordered an egg mcmuffin, a sausage mcmuffin without egg, a double cheeseburger with fries, a sausage burrito, a large ice tea, and a water and we waited 20 minutes in the to go parking spots for our food. This was after being told our food would have to be completely prepared from scratch and that we had to wait 3 – 4 minutes. Finally a man in a car pulls up and says our order is ready. We drive around the drive thru and the cashier rudely says to us that she had been waiting for us to pick up our food and when we told her we were waiting in designated spot she argued but I was yelling at you guys several times. Terrible customer service. Shame on you McDonalds.

Pay for medium fry and they give you half of it. It’s like a small fry for $ 1.99. The tax is higher than other McDonald’s.

It’s okay. Has it’s good and bad days depending on what time of day you go.

This place should get some award for efficiency in routing cars — particularly at rush hour in the morning. They’re simply brilliant at getting an incredible number of people through the drive-​thru on a microscopic plot of land. Most people end up having to do a loop and ½ around the place to use the drive-​thru due to the placement of the driveways and ordering box. I’d say don’t bother, park and just walk in — but the counter service I’ve found to be slow.
My only real complaint — the lady who takes the drive-​thru orders on weekday mornings (at least many of the times I’ve been through — no clue what her work schedule is) doesn’t understand English. I don’t have an accent, I don’t make special or weird requests, I order the items just as they are on the menu. I usually have to repeat my order several times and then just hope for the best. Recent visit — instead of my McCafe White Chocolate Mocha (some Christmas thing they’ve got on the menu) I got hot coffee pre-​cremed and sugared, and I’ve never come so close to screaming «Huevos McMuffino» in my life but some how the bag ended up with the required Egg McMuffin though I’m still not convinced the lady understood what I wanted.

I will not return to this establishment. Twice now on a Friday Night after 10PM they did not offer the Dollar menu. They only allow you to order from Value Meals 1 – 11. So, I wanted just two cheesburgers, and yes, it is a Value meal option. But, they wouldn’t sell me just two cheeseburgers unless I ordered the Meal. They also did not allow me to order just a Fry! Skip. There are better McDonald’s not far from here.
Also, the place is kind of dirty and they don’t speak English well enough for me to feel like I’m in America. Skip skip skip.

So far, this is my favorite McDonald’s in the Alexandria/​Annandale/​Falls Church area. The place is generally clean. (Once a staff member practically sprinted to a table in before we could get there so she could wipe it down.) The food is pretty good. I’ve never been disappointed by the fries, for instance. The staff, while not over the top nice, is competent and have never screwed up my order. It’s McDonald’s, so it can’t get fiver stars, but it is better than most.

Of all the mickey d’s around here, this one speaks the most english

Well, it’s McDonald’s, I can’t say much past this. They get me in and out pretty quickly, and my brain is hardwired to crave chicken mcnuggets from time to time.
Dropped a star for the loopty loop that I have to go through every time I go through the drive thru and the cluster that ensues from the route 7 entrance.

Quick, fast service, clean seating area, and nice décor with the new McCafe seating.
