I have gone in for the laundromat before and it was the usual. Don’t forget to get your detergent and drier sheet because you will have to buy one with a bloated price tag. But this place rocks for the pay per pound laundry service. 10 pounds = $ 10, 1 hour, washed, dried, folded. I got my 20 pound load and it was ready in 4 hours completely satisfied. I will definitely recommend this service if your washer drier ain’t working or you are stuck in a lease with a coin laundry in the basement or you just hate the chore like most of us. My clothes have never looked this neat. This is like mom’s work!

Don’t due your laundry here… I know it might be close but please don’t go here… I had my clothing on permanent press and the dryer got so hot it melted my shirt buttons. The owner said that people due that dryer because it gets so hot. I told him it was on permanent press for a reason. This dryer only has one setting… I asked him why does it have 3 selections? He told me everyone knows how hot it get and he was not going to fix my shirt buttons… If anyone can recommend a good laundry mat please let me know…

This little shop has been a lifesaver for me. I haven’t used their machines, but their pay-by-the-pound drop off laundry service is phenomenal. All I have to do is leave my clothes overnight, and then pick them up the next morning, cleaned, sorted, and folded. They do dry cleaning as well, but that does take another day or two for the shirts to come back. Prices are fair, and oh yeah: they actually take credit cards!

Went to use the washer 8:30AM on 7÷11÷2011. The setting was set on «hot» water, the tub was filled with 2 gallons of COLD water. Went to ask the cashier/owner/“Mr. Lee”, cranky curmudgeon that there’s no hot water. Apparently, he was watching his Korean movie and that investigating hot water was not his priority. The old man started screaming why I didn’t add the soap first. Tried to explain that there’s not hot water! The soap has nothing to do with no hot water. Korean owner couldn’t speak or understand English proficiently. He asked me to leave the premise which I complied. I’ll admit, I’ve been going there for the past 2 yrs to get my pants hem by his wife. Never had a problem. There’s a H-Mart grocery store near it, so its convenient to do a quick grocery shopping while waiting for the machine to stop. Guess everyone has a bad day, no hard feelings. Lesson learned, don’t ask for help while the curmudgeon watching his Korean soap opera.

When my washing machine broke, I needed to find a laundromat quick! Cosmos is very nice, and I would definitely go there again. I only saw one machine out of order. The woman at the cashier was helpful and friendly. She showed me how I needed to spin the dryer as I emptied it, because I was about to leave a couple of washcloths stuck inside it! I purchased a 16-load Tide for $ 6.50. Single load detergents and dryer sheets were $ 0.75. The washing machines were $ 3.00. I used the regular sized front loaders, and they worked great. I may be using the laundromat for a while until my washer is fixed, and I will definitely go back to Cosmos.
