History

Established in 1996.

Dr. Amir Ahmadiyar completed his graduate studies in chiropractic in Toronto, Canada in 1991 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. In 1996, Dr. Ahmadiyar relocated from New Jersey to Northern Virginia and opened his first clinic in Falls Church, Virginia. The clinic is called Greater Falls Church Chiropractic & Acupuncture Wellness Center. In early 2009, Dr. Ahmadiyar opened his second office in Ashburn, Virginia named Ashburn Chiropractic & Acupuncture Wellness Center.

Dr. Amir Ahmadiyar completed his graduate studies in chiropractic in Toronto, Canada in 1991 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. In 1999, Dr. Ahmadiyar received his Acupuncture license from New York Chiropractic College and has since successfully integrated acupuncture into his approach to treating the whole person.Dr. Ahmadiyar also utilizes physical therapy and massage for his patients. Dr. Ahmadiyar successfully treats pain and injuries due to automobile and work related accidents, as well as personal injuries. His patients frequently comment on his friendliness and ability to put patients at ease. Dr. Ahmadiyar has acquired a very workable Spanish which is often put to good use! Dr. Ahmadiyar truly looks forward every day coming to work, knowing that he is making a positive difference in the quality of life of every patient. He is committed in promoting optimal health and well being of patients.

I have a long history of lower back pain, from college football, lifting incorrectly and it seems to run in my family as well. About 2 years ago I lifted some luggage incorrectly and my pain went out and I could have sworn I was going to be cripple and need surgery. I was on bed rest for over a week and finally a colleague recommended Dr. Amir. He drove me here and I had my first session. After a few weeks of persistent visits and following his recommendations on what I should do when I’m at home/​work I began to feel back to normal.
Fast forward 2 years later, it happen again. This time I wasn’t working out consistently or following his previous recommendations. My pain was horrible and I could barely stand or sit. 7 sessions in and I’m starting to feel back to normal. Only this time I plan to keep a consistent regimen of visits and his stretch/​workout recommendations. Surgery is just out of the question and I highly recommend Dr. Amir. He makes you feel as if you are part of the office family and he takes great care of you.

Everytime I have had back pain or need of an adjustment, Amir takes care of it and the difference that is felt from before walking into the office, to leaving is a huge improvement!
Everyone is super nice at the office and most of all the office/​rooms are extremely clean.

Dr. Amir and Brenda (one of the massage therapists) are true heroes when it comes to helping pregnant ladies stay limber and pain free. I’ve been going to their office since my second trimester and am now in the final stretch of my pregnancy – I am truly grateful to have found them. They keep me feeling great as my baby belly grows and grows… I’m certain my labor will benefit from my body being properly cared for and aligned prior to the big day! I plan to continue seeing both of them even after I’ve had the baby. They are that good. Give their office a call, especially if you’re pregnant, and they’ll totally check what your insurance covers so you can begin to treat your aches and pains!

I highly recommend this business. My daughter and I see Dr. Geer & my son sees Dr. Amir. The office is convenient, the staff is friendly and helpful, and their massage therapists are awesome (especially Ingrid). I had never used chiropractic services before and really didn’t know what to expect, but a good friend suggested that I try. I had had two surgeries on my knee & my orthopedic surgeon said nothing else could be done — the only solution was total knee replacement & I was too young to be a candidate yet — according to his diagnosis, I would no longer be able to do many things that make life worth living: walking, exercise, dancing etc. On top of that, I had done something and thrown out my back :(so coming into the office for the first time, I was wearing a large knee brace with metal hinges + used a cane (and sometimes crutches) to get around. Dr. Geer did an xray and a scan of my spine and explained that he thought much of the problem with my knee came from misalignment in my spine. He adjusted my back and my knee & then I had an hour-​long deep tissue massage. Honestly the results were miraculous. I walked out without my brace or cane. I felt taller, stronger and way more hopeful. I have continued to see Dr. Geer twice a week since then and I can’t say enough nice things about him or the whole experience. Chiropractic care has changed my life SO much for the better. I am very grateful and thankful to Dr. Geer, Dr Amir and the whole staff.

I went to Dr Amir for the first time in 2009 for tendinitis in my arm. I had severe tendinitis and had tried everything else with regular doctors, the next step was surgery. I was in a lot of pain. My right arm did not have strength to even brush my teeth. Dr Amir worked at it and made my arm 100% better. I have been going to him regularly since then for different things and he has always been able to take care of the problems. He is the most polite, courteous, gentle and caring doctor I have been to. I would recommend him very highly.

I had been seeing Dr. Amir for my lower back pains. I always leave his office feeling much better and happier. Dr. Amir is friendly and takes his time to answer questions. He has gotten better in explaining the diagnosis and the treatment plan. His staff are very nice and accomodating. I am still undergoing therapy but I can tell that my back has gotten much better. Thanks to Dr. Amir!
