My Mechanic

They are the best! They came out to my house to jump my van battery for free. They even came out to my house to fix my garage door when it wouldn’t close. They have saved me in a bind a few times. I have taken my cars to them for inspection and repairs very reasonable price.

Just wanted to offer my compliments and thanks to the folks at My Mechanic. Recently, I left early in the morning for a 650 mile round trip day. While many things went wrong (losing a contact on the Beltway, getting caught in hail four times) on this trip, stumbling across My Mechanic was one thing that went right. I blew a tire on I-​70 around 6:30am, with over 200 miles left in the first half of my trip. Changed the flat on the highway, and was on the back roads looking for a place that was open. Unenthusiastic at the prospect, I headed for a Walmart in Martinsburg… fail, no tire center. Redirected to one in Hagerstown, and on my way, I passed this garage. It looked well maintained and *open* and I’d always rather go to a local place, so I stopped in with fingers crossed. I’d seen that the puncture was in the tread when I changed the tire and was hopeful it could be repaired. I explained what happened and they brought my car right in. They fixed my tire, put my donut back in its well neatly, checked the air in all my tires and sent me on my way for less than $ 15. Bonus, there were sweet older dogs at the shop and belly rubs for sweet dogs is a great way to wait for a repair. And they let me clean up before I left. My thanks for taking a walk-​in non-​local and providing great customer service at a great price. Some places might have jerked me around seeing that I was in a bit of a bind, but My Mechanic treated me like a regular and it’s very much appreciated.
