Mr. Hanson is an amazing patent lawyer. I needed a lawyer quickly and he was there. He took my situation seriously and acted promptly to accommodate my needs. Was easily accessible through email and answered every question I had as a first time patentee. Strongly reccomend Mr. Hanson for patent lawyer services.

I used the Hanson Law Corp. for my patent search, as I wanted the best possible search using his professional expertise. It was more expensive, but I did not want to risk missing anything that would cause a problem later. His search found nothing like my device, making it a good candidate for a patent. I then paid him $ 6000. to pursue the patent. When the reply came back, they found two patents missing from my search that closely resembled my device, therefore, denying a patent and sighting several clerical errors in my application. I did not expect clerical errors from an experienced professional. They also asked for a repair of the errors and clarification as to how my device differed from the two they found. Mr. Hanson then charged me an additional $ 1700. to reply, essentially charging me to correct his own errors.
Since the missing patents were so close to mine, the patent was again denied. It is hard now not to be suspicious of the two missing patents. My wife questioned why he didn’t have an office and always met me at a restaurant. In our last conversation, Mr. Hanson suggested I try a different attorney. My advice to anyone considering using Mr. Hanson, is now to do exactly that, use a different attorney.
